How do you beat gannon in Zelda

Die Gannon, DIE!!!

depending on the game, ether hit the magic blast (ocerina) back at him then attack as much as you can when he falls, or dodge his strikes until ,Zelda shoot him(windwaker), then attack him when he drops his guard attack his back.
