When does Infernape learn heat wave

Infernape doesn't learn Heat Wave naturally.


You can breed a Chimchar, however who knows the move. You'll need a female member of Chimchar's evolutionary chain, and a male Vulpix, Ninetales, Growlithe, Arcanine, or Torkoal who knows Heat Wave. Put them in the Daycare together, and they will eventually have an Egg. Hatch that Egg and the Chimchar that hatches should know Heat Wave.


Alternately, you can teach a Chimchar, Monferno, or Infernape Heat Wave via a move tutor in the Survival Area in Pokemon Platinum, or in the Battle Frontier in Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver.
