There are many other factors to be considered when judging any one graphics card beyond just the amount of onboard RAM, and even more factors could be thrown in from the overall build of your system. My best advice would be to download the free Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 demo (officially released by EA so yes it is 100% legal) from one of the multiple hosting sites available and simply turn up the settings and see how it performs in large battles where the stress on your system will be highest.
