How come when i made a character on my tales of pirates account and then deleted it and made a new character with the same name it says the character name already exists

Sorry, but there's nothing you do. Once a character name is taken, it's forever unavailable on that server now- Even if you delete it. That's just how it works, sorry, there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it. Only hopes you have left is to wait 1-3 years for top to do a database purge where all the unnecessary data will be removed, including deleted character names, but be aware that someone else may take the name in that time period. Last resort you have is to rely on similar character name. I'm not sure, but i think uppercase letters did fine job on that when i played that game, but that was in the first release of tales of pirates, nowadays they have only the second one.
