Can someone explain what to do from day 1 on harvest moon ds if you want to marry Muffy

i want to marry muffy too! i now have 56 harvest sprites! anyway when i first started the game i immediately started to woo her with flowers wine and chocolate from the supermarket and feilds around the valley. then, by the end of the first year she was on red heart and i had a really big house throughout the second year i bought the big bed from the harvest sprite shopping channel then for the rest of the second year i worked on getting 60 harvest sprites and now it is 2nd of winter year 2 and i only have 4 to get! i can't wait!
