How do you unlock warthog in twisted metal black

In story mode go to the suburbs level and go to the carnival part there you see a gas can power up along the wall that will act as a ramp you drive off of that on to the building in front of it shoot the top of the building and you ll fall into the building where warthog is then shoot the panel and hes unlock
