How do you get your pet to grow on wizard101

Well, since my pet just grew to a teenager. You have to play games in pet pavillion and once the experience increases to full it grows up. BUT, there is a number by your mana and health place. That's how much energy you have to play games. As you level up, that energy will increase so you can play games to level your pet up longer. I have a dragon as a pet, (I think once that dragon is either ancient or epic you can ride on it).
