Is the PSP Go compatible with the previous PSP games made for all of the PSP redesigns via umd or download

Well, the PSP Go is totally "UMD free". And Sony will supposedly start places where you can convert your UMD games to the file type capable of being played on the PSP Go, and saved on the internal memory. Also you can play the downloadable games from the PSN (Playstation Network) on the PSP Go.
