Step 1: The acquiring of twenty dollars. This is the easy step. All you have to do is save up dollars. You can do chores, or even get a job.
Step 2: The paying of said twenty dollars. This is difficult, as you have to part with your "hard-earned" dollars. Go to any local store that sells video games, such as GameStop or Wal-Mart. Or Meijers. Or even K-Mart. Possibly Kohls, but don't count on it. When you get there, go to the PC games section, and search for a box (yes a box) with the title of Starcraft: Battle Chest. Now, all you have to is grab the box and bring it to the cash register. Or just leave with it, but this is not recommended. Pepper spray hurts. Now, the cashier may ask you for twenty dollars. Funny story, remember when you earned twenty dollars? Hey! Me too! Now, SPEND IT. Achievement unlocked. Alright. Great. You've purchased StarCraft.
Step 3: The bringing home and installing of StarCraft. Do it.
Step 4: Download the patch by going to Battle.Net in-game and passing the prompts. It should download the latest patch. Once that has been taken care of, you have a fully playable game.
Step 5: Download the full game. With the new patch, you can download the .mpq files from your CD in order to play with no CD. Rename them to StarCraft.mpq and BroodWar.mpq, respectively.
