Depending on which website it is, it has different rules on how to. I suggest going to the FAQ's on the website your thinking of. I have one example though; for clubpenguin.com you have to be on the same server as your friend/party. Webkinz.com you have to have the same colored phone as the party/friend. :) Hope this helps!
