Why the cheats in battle realms did not work

There's only 2 things why the cheat in battle realms does not work. First you got the upgraded version of the game wherein most of the game bugs have been fixed. Second, the cheats don't work for the Winter of the Wolf expansion version(Battle Realms 2).
