Build 2 Oil Rigs and upgrade them to Level 2, then build 2 Mining Rigs. Build a Military Base and place it to the right of the map, then build a Research Laboratory and research everything in this pattern: 1. Mines II 2. Oil Rigs III 3. Mines III 4. SUV 5. Hybrids Build enough Military Bases to defend the entire map, and build a National Disaster Management building, Bank, and Car Factory, Car Dealership, and Gas Station, as you will have lightning striking and you can't use Port (Exports) or Outsource Car Production: they will make the Worker and World Happiness go down. Build as many cars as possible and sell them all to your citizens. Occasionally pay off your debts at the Bank. In the beginning you can take loans so that you get buildings up and running before the UFOs start attacking, but after your economy is stable stop taking loans. To make the people happy, entertain them with Stadiums and Movie Theaters, build Sewage Treatment Plants, and sell cars. They will eventually become dark green. DO NOT start wars and preferably don't use the Hospital: those will cause the World to slowly turn red. Use the Confederated Nations building to slowly bring the World Happiness up and build a Port (Imports) to buy cars from them (occasionally). Elect a Globalist President from the White House, and make him constantly lower the Import Tariffs. This will take a long time, but you will eventually succeed. Don't try too hard to keep your Workers happy: they are more easy to satisfy than the World. Also, keep the Border open at all times, so that the World stays happy.
