What color is Godzilla

Godzilla was originally grey skinned.

Often people mistakenly believe him to be green because the original film was in black and white, but the artwork on promotional materials in the U.S.A. and other English speaking countries were coloured in green instead of the proper grey of the Godzilla creature suit.

The image of a green Godzilla has persisted, in cartoons, toys, and elsewhere, despite him being grey in the majority of his films.

The only two Godzilla films where godzilla actually has a green hue to his skin is: Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. This is reflected in the related video games.
