What are the cheats for quake 3
there are many cheats for quake 3, some of which you need to run a certain server. here are some cheats that can be VERY useful. first off, the ones that you can just enter in the in the main menu or while in the map. (Type the following in the ~ menu)
/set g_gravity - gives you the ability to change the gravity. (Default 800)
/map q3[dm or tourney] [any number] - changes the map without quitting out. (ex. q3dm17 or q3tourney5)
/devmap q3[dm or tourney] [any number] - changes the map and enables cheats
/iamacheater - yes, that's i am a cheater. unlocks everything at skill 1
/iamamonkey - i am a monkey, unlocks everything at skill 100.
Next, the ones that you need the 'devmap' maps for, like shown above.
/god - gives you invincibility
/give all - gives you all guns except grappling hook
/give grappling hook - gives you a kind of cheap grappling hook that you have to switch to it to use it.
/noclip - allows you to fly freely and go through things as if you were spectating. note* you
can not shoot while in this mode
/cg_thirdperson 1 - lets you play in third person (default 0)
/give [item name] - gives anything you want to you. (ex. give railgun)

Now here are some cheats that i suggest running with 'ufreeze' by Darrel Bircsak, a freeze tag mod for quake 3 arena 1.32c
/set g_grapple 1 (default 0)
/set g_reloadfactor [number value] - change how fast the gun reloads (ex. reloadfactor .2) (my favorite is setting it to 0.) (default 1)
