First off you need that special someone to wed! :P
Then all you have to do is send a proposal to the person, you do this on secondlife.com (not the download) You do that then you are set as partners.
To have the wedding get dresses, people, best man, bride's maid, all that stuff, and find a place to have it, in a sandbox, rented land. SOMEWHERE!
Then get the furniture, bought, built, stolen i don't care! Get ready, set a date and have a fun proper SL Wedding!!! ))
