Difference between eve online isk and other game gold

Mainly the value and the economic structure. Unlike most...well...practically ALL MMOs, EVE ISK has cent values. So you can put something on the marked for..oh..say 1,040.50 ISK. As for the value, EVE ISK would be considerably lower than any other gold. For example, (I'll compare 1 EVE ISK to 1 WoW copper.) An item in WoW that is 1 gold would cost 1,000 copper, which would mean you'd need 1,000 gold in EVE to buy that item. The difficulty to obtain this much levels out, as one full cargo of an ore known as "Plagioclase" can fetch you from 23,000 ISK to about 2,000,000, depending on the size of the cargo.
