The future of gaming

The near-future of gaming is in user-generated content. In the same way that Wikipedia has millions of entries by the very users of the site, so too will go video games. Massively Multiplayer Online Games, the current leading app, can't produce enough content to satisfy their subscription customers. Publishers will soon sell kits that put the power of creation into the player's hands. Those that do not will suffer. Beyond that (maybe 30 years from now), think virtual reality.
