In Rocket Sime DS how do you get past the webs on Mt Krakatoda

You can use a slime knight. The little armored guys sitting around. It gets really frustrating if you send them home though. Then they disappear. You can slash the webs off with the knights sword by pushing Y while he is on your back. Look how smart I am for a girl!!!
