How do you unlock new flowers in animal crossing

plant two flowers of the same kind next to each other and water them red + wite = pink ect. ect. THIS IS WRONG!!! First Find A Four Leaf Clover. Then Get Red Or hite Flowers Only 2 Though. Then Put Them In A Line Like... Red Flower Then 4leaf Clover Then White Flower. Keep atering Them For A Day. When You Comeback On there will be a new Type of flower in the place.
