Is Sonic the Hedgehog related to Silver the Hedgehog or Shadow the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog is not related to either one. Shadow the Hedgehog was created 50 years ago by Dr. Eggman's grandfather, Dr. Gerald Robotnik. Silver the Hedgehog comes from the future to save his time.
