How do you activate cheats in left 4 dead 2

On the PC version, open the developer console and load a map using the "map" command. Once the map has loaded, reopen the developer console and type "sv_cheats 1" to activate cheats. If you are playing the console version of the game, you will need to use a save hacking program, or have the server operator enable it for you.
