How do you get past rank 2 in Lego universe

Go to Nexus Tower and buy the rank three book. They can be found in the first faction vendor you see. Buy it and drag it onto your character. You then will be able to purchase rank three armor and ordnance. If you need any more help look for noble 38 (me) and ask for assistance.
