What is better left for dead 2 or Resident Evil 5

Dead Space 2. Let me explain. I own and played both games to then end - I had the RE5 Gold edition with all the extra content. The Resident Evil series is really not that fun and the game series still has issues. The "on rails" control scheme, the limited ammo and hunting for herbs, limited inventory, etc. There are a lot of mundane details you have to stay on top of to keep going. After a while, they get tedious and annoying. In the Dead Space series, you have free will to roam about, environments that are scarier and creepier than ANY resident evil location, and cool weapons and suit upgrades that give you a real sense of power and destruction. Dead space controls are tight and feel more natural. The environments are amazing. When it comes to enemies, zombies are getting tired. I love the Left 4 Dead series, and to me, that is the best zombie game out there. A handful of necromorphs from Dead Space would destroy a city full of biohazard Umbrella corporation zombies / creations. And that's another bone of contention with me - Raccoon City? Umbrella Corporation? These cheesy ass-names for things are poorly translated Japanese weirdness that I have never liked. Not important, but just thought I'd mention it. I got rid of all my RE games and do not feel one bit of regret. I would not trade my Dead Space games for anything and even go back and re-play them from time to time - THEY ARE THAT GOOD. I've even pre-purchased Dead Space 3 and cannot wait for February to get here. See for yourself - I bet you will play Dead Space 2 WAY more the RE 5.
