No, it is perfectly legal to give children AO rated video games. The ESRB ratings are not enforced by law, it is just that many retail stores are beginning to enforce rules against selling M rated games (AO rated games are not carried in major retail stores) to minors to children to avoid troubles with parents.






IT is not illegal, but it a bad choice, it will show scary images, blood, and even nudity. i would give it to your kid if he was 17+ but not if he is lower the the age on 16
