Is Manic the Hedgehog in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic

The original Manic the Hedgehog from Sonic Underground made an appearance in the Archie Comics series in Sonic Super Special #10. Also, in Sonic Universe, Sonic and Sally have two children, one of which is named Manik, after the character in Sonic Undergound.
