How do you make Desmume work on a Mac O5X

To work the Nintendo DS emulator Desmume on a computer running Mac OS X you will need the latest version of Desmume for Mac OS X, currently 0.9.6-OSX, which you run by double clicking its icon. Once running you click on the Open icon and select a .nds ROM file to open. Once a ROM file has been selected you click on the Run icon to run it. When you have finished you click on the Quit icon.
