What happens if you get muted in adventure quest worlds

You won't be able to talk (and don't bother trying to log out and back in again because you'll still be muted) but then everything will go back to normal and you can speak again after a few minutes. As far as I can tell, you can get muted over and over again and nothing bad will really happen. It's just annoying.
