A cookie is a simple temporarily stored file containing information used by a client (usually an internet browser) the most common use for a cookie it to save user names and passwords used to make it seem as if a website remembers you even though the site is just reading the data from the cookie stored on your computer. The term cookie is very rarely used in regard to video games. An Easter egg is a hidden feature in a programme usually accessed from a special combination of clicks or keys they can be just simple messages or even a hidden level, Easter eggs can be found in everything from DVD menus to circuit boards (little images burned onto the silicon) including video games.
