What should you do when you want to catch a poochyena in Pokemon sapphire

You can catch a poochyena right outside of LittleRoot. It's pretty easy if you just got your level 5 starter because prof birch is chased by a level two poochyena and even though you dont have poke balls yet youll be able to see its location in the pokedex so once you get pokeballs go there and catch it.
