Can you continue playing Kingdom Hearts 2 after you defeat Xemnas

Once you defeat Xemnes and watch all the credits, you will be brought to a final report menu. This is essentially game over, because you must reset your system. In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, however, once you defeat Xemnas, you will be brought to the same report menu, but there will be a load option allowing you to load your game without resetting your system.
