Who would win in a fight a Halo Spartan or a Predator and what close range medium range long range and special or explosive weapons would they use

First let me start by saying as an avid fan of both Halo and Predator and shows like deadliest warrior I feel somewhat Qualified to answer so here are my two cents.

You have to note that the preditors are hunters (hence the name) and Spartans are combat trained soldiers. As tactics go at long range the Spartans would likely use the sniper rifles wich are very accurate and deadly but they would have to relie on their sensors to "see" the preditor, assuming it was cloaked, wich only works at close to medium range. The predator has seemingly better sensory equipment and would have the advantage on spotting, but I have yet to see a highly accurate long range weapon they use other than their plasma/energy cannon wich would probaly not be as effective. I see the preditor bringing the fight to a closer range. At medium range the spartan would probably edge out because of their combanation of armor, assult rifles and grenades used with their sensors, their armor would protect them enough for them to inflict deadly wound to the predator. The predators ranged weapons seem to slow firing for the spatan to not have the overall advantage at medium range. At close range is where the predator would excell. They have many close range weapons they obviously use often. Things like their claw blades, nets, spears, "knifes", and shurukin combined with their skill with them would ensure victory close up. The Spartans mele attacks, like gun butts and punching, their knifes and basic close combat training would be no match. The predator would also have the speed and agility advantage. All in all I think the preditor would bring the fight close, fend the Spartans medium range attacks off and go in for the kill ultimately coming out victorious. It would be a hell of a fight though, one I'd love to see, But remember the predator would be fighting for sport and the spartan for suvival so who really knows. Hope you like this answer.
