In World of Warcraft is there still private servers
Yes, there are still private servers out there. By playing on a private server, you risk having your account stolen, a virus being installed, or any other number of "wonderful things" happening to you. Also keep in mind that operating or playing on one of these servers is most likely illegal in your country, and may cause you to be barred from the real game and taken to court for contract violations (the EULA and TOU are legally binding contracts; if you are a minor, your parents or legal guardians must accept the terms on your behalf). Also, consider the fact that most servers greatly deviate from the standard quests, items, mobs, level progression, skills, and so on, and tend to be unbalanced excessively in favor of the player; some are so "nerfed" you can walk into a raid by yourself. They also tend to run a few releases behind the live version, so you may also have to install multiple copies of the game client. Overall, unless you're confident that you want to experiment with this, I would recommend that you leave well enough alone and stick with the official servers.
