Is the night elf available in the first World of Warcraft

Night Elves are available in "vanilla" WoW. Blood Elves do not become available unless you upgrade to Burning Crusade. Note: if you want to make a Night Elf Death Knight, THEN you need Wrath of the Lich King (the latest live expansion).
