Meaning of the song sanctuary

The song Sanctuary, written by Hikaru Utada, serves an emotional purpose in the game as I have concluded. It sort of talks about what emotional conflicts ioccur in Kingdom Hearts 1 and what struggles there were as Sora tries to battle the wicked Heartless. This may not be the answer you're looking for...
