What M rated games should an 11 year old be allowed to play

It all depends on how mature you or your child is. When I was 11 I was already playing games like Halo and Call of Duty, as well as others with some intense gore and cursing, but my Dad played video games a lot and that's how I was able to play these. I'm older now and still not permitted to play GTA of any kind. Just some big brand names to give you a ball park idea.
