How do you beat personophe in God of War

In God of War Chains of Olympus for the PSP Kratos kills her because she releases the titan Atlas who try's to destroy the great pillar which is holding up from the underworld. After you beat him Personophe try to kill you to so Kratos kills her as well. God of War Chains of Olympus is a prequel to God of War.
