How do you beat sonic and diablon in shadow the hedgehog

You have to wait until the Diablon attacks then use Homing Attack on Sonic so you'll jump high in the air and use Homing Dash on Diablon's head until it's shield come back on. Repeat until it's health bar is depleted.
