Can you play single player realism mode in left 4 dead 2

I'm sorry to brake the news but no we cant play realism single player :'( because of this i will now hunt down valve and kill them all brb


MINAS ANSWER (Sorry I did not know how to add my own answer on this and could only add to the current one.)

Actually yes ( I know this for sure if your are playing on the xbox 360) you can play it on your own along with survivor mode as well. When you go into the game this is what you need to do.
1. Click on realism (or survival depending on which you want to play)
2. from that drop down box select play with friends
3.on the Xbox you would need to press the x button to create a new lobby
4.Then select create lobby
5.Then select which survivor you would like to play as and the realism level (Easy,Normal Etc.) You should notice even before you do all this that it says Start the game.

Side note: Just so you know you that three bots will take the place of the other survivors. Also you can not pause the game. You can use the pause feature but it just blackens the screen it does not mean its actually paused! Learned this the hard way when I paused it to go to the bathroom and by the time I came back I was dead. So have fun playing Realism mode on your own or with friends. Follow the same steps above if you would like to play survival mode on your own. The rest of the modes you can only play while on line with friends or as a match against or with strangers.
