How do you use the unreal tournament 3 editor
It is a very difficult process so be sure to write this down.
There are a lot of different aspects, so I'll just tell you the basic how to build part.
First you select what kind of shape you want like a cube, or a triangle, and right click the button with the shape. A widow will pop up containing numbers of the X, Y, and Z axis (basic 3d geometry) increase or decrease the numbers depending on what you want and select save (on some programs it's different, I don't know why)
You will notice that in the build screen(bottom left hand screen) you still shouldn't see it. Scroll your mouse to the top of the screen and find build. Select "add" from the bar that appears and your square should appear on the bottom screen.
The four screens
The four screens show your project at different angles. Top left shows the geometric build (only lines no color or light) from the side. The top right screen will show the geometric build from the top, and the bottom right will show the geometric build from the other side view. The bottom left is a little more elaborate.
The bottom left screen shows what the world will look like (areal view) of what your world will look like to the gamer. It will show your static meshes(later in the answer), you meshes (designs((the files to find these is very hard to find and is different on most computers :())), and the 3d view of your shapes, ect. It is occasionally inacurate though, so place your shapes with the other screens.
More on the topic coming soon...
