How expensiveis it to preorder a video game

Every company that I have pre-ordered a game from does not charge extra to pre-order (unless, of course, you are ordering some special edition). You simply pay and amount ($5 minimum) to reserve the game, and they will hold it for you for a couple days after the game releases. Whatever amount you pay to pre-order the game comes out of the final price.

(For example, if you reserve a $60 game with $40, then you will only have to pay $20 when you pick it up.)
