On Super Mario 64 how do you get the sixth star named blast away the wall at whomp fortress

Right next to the spinning plank, there are two walls. This is right next to the cannon. You have to aim for the upper right corners of this wall, which will break the corners. Once you've done this on both, a star will appear,
