LOOT The Game Review & Walkthrough Guide

LOOT The Game

Genre: Shooter, RPG

Game Review
Jmtb02 is one of the most innovative game designers out there. His games are normally very action packed and fast pace which are the type of games that attracts me deeply. LOOT The Game doesn't seem like there's much to it but it's mysteriously addicting. The idea is simple; picking up some sweet loots and attack the loot-filled train. Grind to keep getting new weapons and upgrades. It's a fight to the bitter end, see if you can defeat all 100 train cars!

It's an interesting game concept and clever comment on gaming genres, but it can get slightly repetitive after a while as the game got easier and easier with rare and rarer equipment. Well to a point where I ended up looting only on red quality gears that is so powerful; providing tons of stats and destroying nearly any turrets and train in one to three hits. It ended up from quite challenging to no challenge at all, really weird difficulty curve I have noticed! Still, I have a lot of fun trying to customize my blue elephant to the best I could.

In order to win the game, I think you must learn to multi-task. At any point of time you will have a hard time focusing on attacking, placing items in your inventory, and looking at which items that good and useful. Meanwhile, being shot by turrets and cannons that slicing your health to empty. It can be frustrating for most people if they die. Not to worry, dying isn't too big of a deal.

Overall, it's a lovely game, loved wrecking carts with only one sword slash and having 10 cats following me. Collecting was really a fun point, since I love to collect everything and I ended up filling the item slots with only legendries. So anyway, cool game! Love it!

LOOT The Game Guide

Strategy in LOOT The Game
You always pick up the loot, and check it up on the tunnels to avoid making yourself a mess. If survival is a problem, you should try to get Healing Cats if possible to heal up there and avoid purchasing potions. Anyway like I have mentioned above, dying does nothing. I suggest to buy the inventory slot expansions to loot more as soon as possible.

There are three weapon types: Swords are pretty useless in the beginning, go up in damage with Strength. The gun is the elephant most trusty weapon, which are the best weapon and go up in damage with Dexterity. Wands fires multiple fireballs but they are very slow, which go up in damage with Intelligence.

Now, the trick to make the game a breeze is to aim for the loot! Which means you should always center around rare loot %+, at around 8k+% you should always acquire Legendary (Red) equipment, which will help you greatly building up your preferred weapon damage. The problem with having high damage though: As you kill trains fast, you will get less loot. If you have a wide level gap (30+ levels) you can wait a bit and pick up dropped loot. Or else, finish them! :)
