Grand Theft Auto V – Parachute Jumping Guide

There are plenty of side missions available in Grand Theft Auto V, and one of the mission lines you can do with any character is parachute jumps. There are jumps available for Travis, Franklin, and Michael. These special challenges involve jumping off of a mountaintop or out of an aircraft. The missions provide a parachute, and you can get nice chunk of change if you have a graceful landing! Check out all the jumps available below.

Aim for the Fairway

To start this mission, go to Rockford Hill and find a parachute on the sidewalk next to a yellow barrier by the multi-story building. During this mission, you then need to jump off a rooftop and land in the golf course. Make sure you have enough height to get over the fence. You get $200 for a perfect landing.

Bank Bailout

Get the parachute from the planter in front of the Maze Bank in Pillbox Hill. Jump or drive off the rooftop and land accurately on the target in the park. You can get $200 for a perfect landing. 

Carving the Mountain

This one can be found on a hilltop in Raton Canyon. You need to jump off the canyon and guide yourself through the checkpoints. Then land on a dirt road by the bridge. A perfect jump will get you $510. 

Damned if you Don’t

Start this mission from the helicopter to the south of the Vinewood horse track, near the river. Glide through the checkpoints during the jump and land on the shoreline to get $600. 

The Decline

Find the landed helicopter at the end of the pier at Paleto Bay. Get it to start the jump. Go through checkpoints and land on the pier to get $420. 

The Fall of the Alamo

Start this jump from the parked helicopter in the Countryside construction site. Glide through the checkpoints after jumping off the helicopter. Land in a field perfectly to get $570. 

Falling Mouse

This jump is also found at Raton Canyon, at the top of the mountain. Use the parachute to start the mission and glide through the checkpoints. Land on the dirt road. Get $360 for a perfect jump.

Pacific Tour

Go to La Puerta and find a parked helicopter in between a hotel pool and the docks. Get in to start the mission. To complete it successfully, you need to jump from the helicopter and land on the moving boat below. Use the radar to follow it. Try to land in the middle of the boat to get the $200 reward.

Photo Finish

Find the helicopter near the pond in the horse track in Vinewood. Jump from the helicopter, go through the checkpoints, and land on the track to get $390.

Razor Rock Drive

Get this mission from another parachute on a different Raton Canyon mountaintop. Jump off the edge and glide through checkpoints to land on at the end of a bridge. You can get $230 for a perfect jump.

Runaway Train

Start this jump from another mountain in Raton Canyon, where a helicopter is perched. You have to land on a moving train to complete the jump. You can make $200 for a perfect landing. 

Turbine Terror

Find the grounded helicopter at the wind farm office. Go through the checkpoints and land at an intersection. A perfect jump gets you $420. 

What Goes Up

Find the crane in the construction site at Pillbox Hill. Go up the crane arm to find the parachute. Jump from the crane and land on the moving truck to get $200.
