Tomodachi Life - Personalities Guide

Tomodachi Life is a new, fun simulation game on the 3DS. In the game, players create their "look-alike Mii" to live on an island. They can then make other Miis, friends and family, to live on the island with them. Every Mii has a personality based on what you enter about how they act in real life. There are several different personality types, and the type will determine how your Mii acts in the game and who they get along with. Want more information on the personalities in the game? Traits

Your Miis personality is based on five traits. You will rate these traits based on whoever you made the Mii for. You will choose how they rate on the scale, from one end to the other. Where the Mii falls on the trait scales determines the personality type. The traits are as follows:

• Movement (Slow to Quick)

• Speech (Polite to Direct)

• Expressiveness (Flat to Varied)

• Attitude (Serious to Relaxed)

• Overall (Quirky to Normal)

Personality Types

There are 16 different personality type combinations total, and four main categories. The personality type will influence how your Miis act, what they like, and who they will be friends with. Here are the different personalities:

Confident Adventurer

This Mii is totally serious, very quick, always direct, very expressive, and totally normal. They are a confident person who takes risks and is full of energy.

Confident Brainiac

This person is very slow, very direct, totally flat, completely serious, and very quirky. This Mii will be very focused and is highly intelligent. They know a lot about all different subjects.

Confident Designer

This Mii is pretty quick, pretty direct, pretty varied, kind of normal, and kind of serious. They are very focused and are great at coming up with and executing plans.

Confident Go-Getter

This character is not expressive, very serious, totally normal, really quick, and direct all the time. They are a motivated individual who is proud of their own abilities and doesn't let anything or anyone stand in their way.

Easygoing Buddy

These Miis are very slow, always polite, completely flat, totally relaxed, and always quirky. They are open minded and trustworthly. They will work well with others. 

Easygoing Dreamer

This person is very quick, always polite, totally flat, completely relaxed, and totally normal. They are idealistic and romantic, and often daydream. They have a lot of great ideas.

Easygoing Optimistic

This character is very quick, always polite, totally varied, always relaxed, and completely normal. They are easygoing and always optimistic and positive. They are very enthusiastic. 

Easygoing Softie

These people are very slow, always polite, always varied, totally relaxed, and completely quirky. They are relaxed, empathetic, and sensitive. They may be considered shy.

Independent Artists

This person is pretty slow, pretty polite, pretty flat, pretty serious, and pretty quirky. They are creative and inspired. They find beauty in everything.

Independent Free Spirit

This character is completely slow, very polite, always varied, completely serious, and very quirky. They are carefree, creative, and relaxed. They do things their own way.

Independent Lonewolf

This Mii is very slow, very polite, very flat, very serious, and very quirky. They are self-reliant and don't work well with others. They are also very creative. 

Independent Thinker

This person is very quick, very polite, totally flat, completely serious, and absolutely quirky. They are creative and introspective. They will be thoughtful and somewhat reserved.

Outgoing Charmer

This character will be sort of quick, a little direct, a little varied, a bit relaxed, and a bit normal. They are very charming and outgoing and make friends easily. 

Outgoing Entertainer

This person is super quick, totally direct, always varied, very relaxed, and totally normal. They are bold and captivating, and like to be witty and charming.

Outgoing Leader

This Mii is very quick, very direct, completely flat, very relaxed, and totally normal. They are social, assertive, and energetic.

Outgoing Trendsetter

This character will be very slow, always direct, totally varied, always relaxed, and completely normal. They are energetic and radiant, and people always look up to them.
