Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Tranzit 101: Guide To Mastering Zombies

Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops II could stand alone as its own game. With all the success brought in the first Black Ops title, Treyarch has taken it above and beyond what millions loved and played just a few years ago. Now gamers are calling Tranzit, the newest zombie map in Black Ops 2, the best Treyarch has ever made. Everything you loved about last generation's modes are there, plus a whole lot of extras to play with.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Tranzit 101: Guide To Mastering Zombies

Here's how to dominate some of its best features that you won't find in most game reviews:

Step 1: Build The Turbine

Step 1 is not an option. You must build the turbine each and every time you start a game in Tranzit. The funny-looking, wind-powering device will open new doors for you without spending a game. That extra cash will come in handy for items like weapons, upgrades, the mystery box, etc.

Step 2: Turn On The Power

If you watched the first video from start to finish, you might have noticed that the narrator was able to turn the power on before finishing a single round. Now you can see why building the turbine is the most important stop to get to the power room so quickly. In the same way you build the turbine, the parts needed to flip on the power are scattered across the room and need to be assembled on the work bench.

Step 3: Upgrade The Undead Man's Party Bus

Just like the other tutorials in the list, upgrading the bus requires gathering parts to get the job done. Unlike the other tutorials, however, these parts are scattered across Tranzit, so you'll have to make a few trips around town before you can get all the pieces of the puzzle. Once everything is complete and assembled, you'll not only have a new achievement for your accomplishment, but a bus that deters zombies from hopping in mid-transit and more entry / exit points for yourself.

Bonus: Get Invincible

This is a glitch so good (and it's not the only one), I can't imagine Treyarch going too long before they patch it. While in the power room, you can duck down behind the power switch next to the work bench and put yourself in a harm-free zone. As long as you're there, the zombies can't touch you. If you have the patience to knife each walker one-by-one and wait for max ammo drops, there's no reason you couldn't go 100+ rounds.

This will give you a good foundation to start taking on zombies wave by wave. How you hold them off once the waves get higher is up to you, but if you follow steps 1-3 (all invincibility aside), you'll have a much easier time getting the first few waves out of the way.
