Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Titles Guide: How to Unlock All 22 Accolades

In Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance from PlatinumGames, Kojima Productions, and Konami, players looking to go beyond simply "beating the game" can try to unlock Titles.

Titles are accolades that are given to those gamers that master Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Some of these Titles can be unlocked in a single play-through without much effort or thought. Most, however, will require both planning and tested skill to collect.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Titles

Title Name Unlock Condition Battle Tested Complete the game on Normal difficulty or above and get detected at least 50 times Cyclone Complete the game on Very Hard difficulty within 3 hours without dying Divine Wind Complete the game on Revengeance difficulty within 3 hours without dying Gale Force Complete the game on Hard difficulty within 4 hours without dying Hard Worker Get a rating in every single Ranked Battle; even optional and hidden fights Jack the Ripper Slice through enemies at least 1,000 times whilst in Blade Mode Light Breeze Complete the game on Easy difficulty within 5 hours without dying Light Drizzle Complete the game on Normal difficulty or above in 12 HOURS OR MORE Lightning Bolt Get an overall B-Rank or above in all difficulty levels Lightning Speed Complete the game on any difficulty within two hours Massive Deterrent Complete the game on Normal difficulty or above without killing any Cyborgs, Armored Cyborgs, or Cyborg Berserkers (the High-Frequency Wooden Blade comes in handy here!) Mr. One Percent Earn at least 300,000 BP playing through the game on Normal difficulty or above Naked and Unloved Complete the game on Hard difficulty or above without upgrading your Life, Fuel Cell capacity, or Endurance. (This should be the last Title you unlock, as you will have to select "New Game" from the title screen) Ninja Complete the game Normal difficulty or above and take out 50 or more enemies with Ninja Kills Passing Rain Complete the game on Normal difficulty or above within 8 hours Precision Machine Complete the game on any difficulty and sever cleanly at least 30 body parts in Blade Mode without damaging the enemy further with subsequent slices Rain Shower Complete the game in 10 hours or more, dying at least 10 times and using more than 20 Life recovery items (You already unlocked that one, didn't you? ;) Samurai Complete the game on Normal difficulty or above while using the High-Frequency Blade as your ONLY primary weapon (you can swap out secondary weapons as you see fit) Strong Wind Complete the game on Normal difficulty within 4 hours without dying Sworn to Secrecy Complete the game on Normal difficulty or above whilst being detected by enemies 35 times or less Thunder God Get an overall S-Rank for all chapters on all difficulty levels Thunderstorm Complete the game on Hard difficulty or above without dying, and without using ANY Repair Nanopaste
