Grand Theft Auto V – Off-Road Races Guide

Tired of street racing in the city of Los Santos? Try some of the off-road races in Grand Theft Auto V instead. There are 6 off-road races you can find out in boonies, and they all offer a sweet prize if you can come in first! To get started, you’ll need an off-road motorcycle or ATV. Then, head to the location to start. You’ll have to win at least one and get a gold medal to complete the “Multi-Disciplined” trophy or achievement. Canyon Cliffs

Start this race at Raton Pass in North Chumash. The start is next to Cassidy Creek. A Sanchez is a good choice for this race, as it will allow you to go fast yet stay in control. Winning gets you $500. This unlocks Ridge Run.

Ridge Run

This race is off of Galileo Road in Great Chaparral. If you don’t bring a vehicle here, you can get one by pressing the right directional pad. Be careful of the cliffs here – maneuver the sharp turns carefully or you will find yourself going off a ledge. Get $500 for a win. Completing the race unlocks Mineward Spiral.

Mineward Spiral

You can only do this race at night, so head to the start between 20:00 and 3:00 at the Davis Quartz in the Grand Senora Desert. This race has lots of corkscrews, so use something with good steering. You can win $500 for a win, and this race unlocks Valley Trail.

Valley Trail

This race starts at the opposite end of where Canyon Cliffs began, next to Cassidy Creek. Use a Sanchez dirt bike for this one to get maximum speed. Winning gets you a $500 reward, and you can unlock Lakeside Splash for completing it.

Lakeside Splash

This race goes around the lake in Sandy Shores. It starts on Armadillo Avenue in Sandy Shores. This race takes place on the beach, so watch out for beach debris that will cause you to crash. You get $500 for winning and you’ll unlock the last race, Eco Friendly.

Eco Friendly

This race starts at the Ron Alternates Wind Farm in the Grand Senora Desert. If you don’t bring a vehicle to the race, you’ll be given a truck. Watch out for hairpin turns that can send you launching over a steep cliff. Winning gets you $500.
