Batman: Arkham Origins – Shiva Guide

Throughout Batman: Arkham Origins, you’ll find plenty of characters from the DC Universe. Sometimes there will be special side missions or story quests related to these characters. One character who has some options side stuff to complete is Shiva. This powerful villain can be discovered if you complete some specific events in the single-player story mode. Finding Shiva

You can’t do anything with Shiva until you finish the mission that takes place at the Gotham Merchant Bank. After this go outside and find the group of SWAT members. Defeat them all and move forward from where they were until you start to hear a crying baby. Use your Detective Mode to find where the crying is coming from. Find the stroller and Shiva will come and talk to you.

You’ll learn during this cutscene that you have to complete some specific tests and challenges for her in order to save someone’s life. After the scene is over, the locations for the quest will be on your map. Go there to get started.

Save the Police Officer

When you arrive to the first location, you’ll hear a policeman calling for help through the intercom. Go through the gold door nearby to find the room with the pool. Here, use one of the ledges to destroy the electrical panel and then fight off some ninjas that appear. Use your special Deathstroke gadget on the hook on the ceiling to reach the second electrical panel and destroy that one too. Take out the next ambush and go back down to release the police officer.

Talk to the officer to learn about an enemy that was shot, but escaped. Use your Detective Mode to find their blood trail. Scan the blood on the edge of the pool and follow the trail that appears. You’ll eventually come to a dead police officer. Examining the body will make Shiva appear and attack you. Counter her attack to start a cutscene, where Shiva will tell you to meet her at Sheldon Park.

Confront Shiva

Go to the park. You will need to go into a building, but some enemies block your way. Take them out and go inside. Once you enter, you’ll be engaged in a battle with Shiva and her ninjas. Focus on getting Shiva down to half to trigger a cutscene. After that, she’ll have some different martial artists joining her in battle and Shiva herself starts using a sword.

Avoid her attacks and counter as much as possible. It is pretty simple unless you are going for the trophy or achievement “Flawless Display”. For that trophy or achievement, you can’t be hit in this battle at all! Jump around to avoid being hit and use your counterattack against Shiva and her followers. It’s tough, but once you get the hang of how she fights it’s easier to get this achievement to pop.
