Extra Op Unlocks

In the main Ground Zeroes mission, there are 9 special X.O.F. Unit Patches to find. If you collect all of them in a single playthrough, you can unlock a special extra op. This will be Deja Vu if you are playing on Playstation and Jamais Vu if you are playing on an Xbox.

FoxDie

In the Playstation Deja Vu extra op, there are two special prisoners you can find. One is in the prison camp and the other is in the boiler room in the basement of the Administration Building. Interacting with both of these prisoners will activate the FoxDie virus, which will start attempt to infect the Fox Engine that the game runs on!

Kojima

In the side op Intel Operative Rescue, Snake examines a pair of glasses. These are J.F. Rey glasses – the same kind Kojima wears. By the end of the level, it becomes clear to Big Boss and Miller that they were actually rescuing Kojima himself! You can sometimes see him in the helicopter on the mission select screen after rescuing him.

Logos

The in the extra op Deja Vu, you can find Metal Gear logos everywhere! If you interrogate one of the guards in the mission, he’ll mark your map with all the different logos. You can find logos for almost every game, including: Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Snake's Revenge, Metal Gear Solid Touch, Metal Gear Acid, Metal Gear Acid 2, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Metal Gear Ghost Babel, and Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

Music

There is a cassette tape to be find that have two tracks from previous Metal Gear games. It is found in the Deja Vu extra op, down by the small cave near the prison where Chico is. The music is Resurgence (Alert!) from Metal Gear Solid and Theme of Tara from Metal Gear.

Skins

There are some unlockable skins in the Playstation mission Deja Vu. If you can get all the answers to the end quiz right on normal difficulty, you will unlock the classic Snake skin. If you can do this on hard difficulty, you’ll unlock the Frank Jaegar/Grey Fox skin.
Additionally, if you can also complete the Metal Gear Solid 1 quiz on hard difficulty, you will unlock the theme for Shadow Moses, which changes the environment to an artic setting.
