Welcome to our unofficiate guide and walkthrough to Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. This guide covers the complete game and all collectibles. So basically that's the complete single player game, plus all the red bricks, gold bricks and an in-depth look at achievements.

However, this guide is currently IN PROGRESS and awaiting upload, this will be done shortly.



   




Chapter 1: Theatrical Pursuits

Once you have controls, you can destroy several objects here to gain some studs but I do suggest to just play normally until you have the chance to gather the multiplier blocks, which can easily and quickly rack up your score.

Head in front of the stage and hold B to reconstruct the blocks. Next, you have to hit Harley Quinn with your batarang. To do this, hold the X button and move the reticule until it locks on your target. Use the minions to replenish your hearts. It will take three hits to defeat Harley.


 


Stage Fight

 

Collect the remaining studs if you want, then jump down the trapdoor. Use the savepoint then continue. Continue hitting the large metallic piece to your immediate left until it destroys the wall to the right and reveal the Riddler inside. Continue destroying the pieces here to earn more studs.


Head to the right to reach the next area. Press and hold X and target the highlighted grappling hooks. Upon reaching the ledge, grab and hold one of the grappling hooks then switch to your next character and do the same to jump to the other ledge. Continue along and push the lego piece so it shatters on the ground.

Jump down and assemble it so you can change into the Sensor Suit. Press and hold the B button to activate stealth mode then go past the security camera and defeat the henchmen controlling it.


Mini-Kit and Sensor Suit

 

Continue to the next room and use both characters to grab the grappling handles and hold unto them to open the next room. Stand in front of the green board with the Sensor Suit equipped and press B. Find the riddler and press X to hit him. Do this three times to make him appear. Defeat him then re-assemble the green pieces and ride the lift to continue.




Destroy the cart nearby and reassemble it to get the Robin Acrobat Suit. Switch to it then defeat the enemies that will appear. Press and hold X to place the pole and use it to reach the concourse area. You'll be facing Two-Face next.


First, destroy the planters near the railings and reassemble them so Batman can use his grappling hook and join you. Switch to him and go stealth to get past the security cams. Destroy the objects inside and reassemble them to turn into a switch. Switch to Robin and press and hold B to become a ball. Jump in the middle of the switch and move forward to activate the switch and lower Two-Face.

Defeat him easily using a stealthed Batman then use Robin's acrobat stick to reach the mini-kit to the upper right, near the ceiling.


Two-Face

 

Continue to the elevator and face the Joker. If he grabs one of your characters, switch to the other one to attack him. You may also want to defeat his annoying minions. When he's down to one heart, head to the green power panel and use Batman's Sensor Suit to fix the cables. Finally, re-assemble the broken lego pieces near the open wall and use the zipline to reach Joker.

Next, you have to pursue Joker. First, jump down to ground level and head to your right. You should find some hopping red lego blocks. Destroy them all to reveal a gold brick. 


Jump down and head to the left. Re-assemble the pieces on the yellow platform the equip the sensor suit. Next, head to the green panel and release all the red locks. Re-assemble the pieces then switch to Robin's Acrobat Suit. Turn into a ball again and jump on the mechanism like what you did earlier with your fight against Two-Face.





Re-assemble the piece to activate the terminal and use it call in Robin's Helicopter. Ride the helicopter to and watch the following scenes to start the next chapter.



   




Chapter 2: Harbouring a Criminal

Head to the lower right and defeat the two thugs ganging up on a civilian. You can also find four billboards here you can destroy. Assemble the broken pieces near the helicopter to fix the canopy.



Use your batarang to destroy the flashing pieces on the sides of the blue trailer. Destroy the machine inside and re-assemble it to unlock the Power Suit. Change into this suit and destroy the shiny silver pieces nearby.



Destroy the silver spotlight and re-assemble it to unlock Robin's Magnet Suit. Destroy the other spotlight and reassemble it to become a silver cart. Follow the grail of gold studs until a mini-kit appears. Grab it.



Next, have Robin pull the two blue pipes out of the way, then reassemble the broken pieces to create the last blue billboard. Destroy it to get another minikit. Go to the left again and destroy the silver pipes this time to reveal yet another minikit.



Climb up the blue pipes and grapple hook in the middle. Jump to the upper ledge and pull the blue metallic fans so you have something to walk on.



Continue to the right side and defeat the goons. Pull the blue mechanism then switch to Batman. This should break down the lego pieces below which you can reassemble to fix the helicopter's engine.



Next, ride the lift then use Batman's Power Suit to break the metal door open. Pull the ladder down using the Magnet Suit then climb up. Bomb the silver piece ahead then pull it again using the Magnet Suit. Pull the blue piece again, then grab unto the grappling handle.



Destroy the blocks at the end of the ledge then reassemble it to become a zipline. Use the grappling handle to reach the rooftops then continue to the right to find another blue piece. Pull it then use the grappling handle to reach the other side. Defeat the goon there then use Batman to pull the stuck lego pieces. They should fall to the ground. Reassemble the last pieces to fix the helicopter's broken rotor blades. Ride it to continue with the story.




In this next phase, you'll have to chase Joker in his speed boat. You have to use your Batwing's projectiles to completely drain his life bar. His minions will appear from time to time so when they do, destroy them all first before focusing your fire again on the joker. You have to repeat this 4 times until all his hearts are gone.


Chasing the Joker

 

After the scene and checkpoint, you'll have to fight him again on the ground. There are two minikits you can get here. First, destroy all the cars in the parking lot then for the other, simply ride the bumpcar in the lower lefthand corner.

To take out the Joker's first heart, push the green paddle to aim the cannon towards him then use Batman's power suit to pull the trigger.

For the second phase, assemble the pieces near the clown face to the upper right corner of the parking lot. Blast its teeth then assemble the blue pieces so Robin can walk on it. Reach the top then destroy the gray cover. Pull the rods out so the swinging signs to take out the Joker's second heart.

For the final phase, destroy the large vehicle where his goons came from then dis-assemble it by alternately blasting the silver parts and pulling the blue parts. Once completely destroyed, reassemble the pieces to become a giant hammer then use Batman to pull it and defeat the Joker.


Let me introduce you to these unbreakable toys

 

 

To the Batcave

Activate the terminal then choose the vehicle of your choice. For this instance, I opted to select the Batmobile. You can then test your weapons by destroying the silver statues. Press B to use the bombs and press and hold X to use the machine gun. Silver statues can only be destroyed using bombs.



After destroying the statues, the gate will open. Follow the transparent blue studs to reach your objective. Once you reached the terminal with the bat logo, activate it to reach the batcave. Once inside, use the lift to continue with the story.

After the scene, you'll be controlling Bruce Wayne. Head to the right and activate the terminal there. Activate the terminal then select the location with the bat logo. Place a beacon there to proceed with the story.



Drive to the Arkham Asylum then activate the terminal. Drive to the entrance to proceed. You'll be inside the maze.



   




Chapter 3: Arkham Asylum Antics

Head to the right and destroy the two glass tubes to stop the fountain. Assemble the pieces then use the grappling hook to drain the water and unlock Robin's Acrobat Suit. Place his stick on the hole in the wall, then double jump to reach it and jump to the other side. Continue around the path and defeat the goons. Grab the handle to topple the statue's hat. Assemble the pieces to unlock Batman's Power Suit. Double jump again to reach the wall with the jumping lego pieces to create grappling handles for Batman.



Switch to Batman and cross the gap. Change to his Power Suit then destroy the silver wall to the upper right. Climb the wall then destroy the silver statue to topple it and destroy Catwoman's bike. Follow the path then continue to the left to find a silver winged statue. Destroy it then reassemble it.



Switch to Robin and use his bubble ability. Jump on the mechanism and use to move the bat logo to the far end of the wall. This will unlock Batman's Bat Suit. Go to the right and use the Bat Suit's Sonic Gun to shatter the glass pieces. This will take care of Two-Face's truck. Backtrack to the left a bit then go down then left again to find a glass wall. Shatter it to find a mini-kit.




Head to the right then down to encounter Bane's Mole Machine. Go back to the left first then switch back to your Power Suit. Take the lower left path and follow it to find a silver statue. Blow it then use the ramp or just follow the hallway to find two grappling handles. Both characters must pull it down to activate it.



This will unlock Robin's Ice Suit. Change to that and use it to freeze the gushing water from the silver statue you destroyed earlier. This will stop the mole machine and complete the level. Talk to the commissioner to start the next chapter.



   




Chapter 4: Asylum Assignment

Start by destroying the lego pieces near the elevator and reassemble them to get Robin's Hazard Suit. Use it to take out the fire. Head to the right and dive to the water. Activate the panel to the left to unlock Batman's Electricity Suit.



Use Batman to pass through the electical catwalk then drain the power from the generator and clear the underwater path for Robin. Switch to Robin and continue to the right. Destroy the debris for the blocks to float and create a footbridge for Batman.



As Batman, continue to the right then drain the generator's power again. Switch to Robin then destroy the fan blades to enter the tunnel. Head to the left first to find a mini-kit.



Continue to the right and destroy the second fan then activate the terminal. Switch back to Batman and power up the generator to open the underwater gate for Robin. Go past the gate and have Robin destroy the green machine to clear a path for Batman. Have Batman power on the generator again to open the floor panel inside the cage. Switch to Robin and float up to the opened floor panel to get inside the cage. A mini-kit is located to the far left.



Continue to the right and have Batman destroy the desk then reassemble it to become a paddle switch. Push it for Robin to continue forth. Continue to the right and let Robin return to the surface. Now aim for the blue circular switch then press B to shoot a stream of water to it. This will activate the stairway.



Continue upstairs and power on the switch to freeze the waterfall. Climb up then defeat all goons. Destroy the shining blocks in the upper right portion of the floor and reassemble it to get Robin's Ice Suit.  Destroy the two valves to create a fountain. Freeze them and the waterfall in the middle to gain access to the upper floor.



Make your way to the other side and past the freeze jet then use the paddle switch to power off the jet and create a safe passage for Batman. Continue forth and defeat the goons. Have Batman power off the generator in the upper left then control Robin and cross the frozen wall. Continue to the right and a hatch will open. Jump down then pull the lever.



Use the paddle switch to turn off the freeze jets. Have Robin shoot the waterfall with his ice cannon to freeze again then make Batman reach the other side to access the electrified terminal. (You can ignore the mini-kit  during your first time in this stage) Power it off then step on the two buttons to continue.

In the next area, head to the right and defeat the minions. Switch to Robin's Acrobat Suit and swing on the handle bars to reach a mini-kit.



Power up the switch to the left of the giant monitors then use Robin's Acrobat Suit's gyro ball ability to control the conveyor belts. After completing the simple path, the box will appear. Use your grappling hook to pull the box open. Defeat the enemies that will appear as well.



Reconstruct it then change to Batman's Sensor Suit. Go on stealth mode and go past the security cameras. Deactivate them using the nearby switch, then change to Robin's Hazard Suit to put out the fire. Change to Robin's Ice Suit before moving on. Continue forth then examine the green wall and fix the alignment of the conduits inside.


Cross the bridge then freeze the waterfall to access the terminal. Activate it to create another bridge. Move along to reach the large door. Defeat all the enemies then scan the blue wall. First, release the batter in the top left corner then operate the mechanisms until the battery reaches to the lower right. This opens the large security door and stairs.



Continue along the main corridor where more prisoners will break free and attack you. Defeat them until you reach the some toxic sprays. Pull down the lever to the left and activate the terminal to the right to get past them. Meet up with the Scarecrow to start the boss battle for this stage.

Have Batman go on stealth mode and just defeat the prisoners and attack Scarecrow until he's down to 3 hearts. You should see some bouncing lego pieces from both sides. Reassemble them to become valves. Activate the valve and have one of your characters hang on the bar. Activate the valve again to retract it so the hanging character can jump on the ledge and activate the terminal there. Do this for both sides and you should be able to attack the Scarecrow normally until he's defeated.  The stage is completed after his defeat.


Early Halloween

 

Free Roam

You can now activate remote bat terminals which will allow you to fast travel to major known locations, reveal villain locations and select the vehicles you want to ride as well. Activating some bat terminals reveal the location of villains. Defeating them will allow you to buy them so you can switch to them and use their skills whenever needed.

Remote terminals are marked by red beams in the sky. For tips on how to find and collect these character tokens, please refer to this guide's Character Tokens section.



   




Chapter 5: Chemical Crisis

Be careful of the toxic sludges as you'll lose hearts by getting in contact with them. First, destroy the lego blocks to the right of the cylinder containing the hazard suit. Reassemble it to become a switch and to open the cylinder. Switch to Robin's suit and head to the water tank further to the right. Activate the switch.



Jump up and examine the canister to get the first chemical vial. The path leading to the next area should open. Continue along the walkway until you reach the area where the lift gets blown off by the Joker's trap. First, destroy all the shining “locks” then activate the terminal. Next, clean the green slude by blowing it with the Hazard Suit's water cannon. This will enable you to change into Batman's Electricity Suit.



Go up the ladder and turn off the electricity using the switch. Go to the left until you reach another chemical vial. Defeat the goons  and switch the Robin. Jump to the water tank and continue to the right. Activate the terminal there.



Continue to the right and clean the slude. Reassemble the blocks to change into Robin's Magnet Suit. Continue to the upper level and pull the blue cone. Power it up using Batman's Electricity Suit then examine the red canister to get the red chemical vial.



Continue forth and reassemble the bridge pieces so you have something to jump on. Continue to the right and ride and hop the moving barrels until you reach the other platform. Pull the blue barrels north then access the orange chemical canister.


Jump on the barrels again to proceed to the right. Have Batman drain the electricity so Robin can change to his Hazard Suit. Jump on the colored liquids to refill your tank then aim and shoot the liquid in the corresponding hole. Fill all three tanks to clean the green chemical vat to the right.


Have Batman reach the other side first then drain the electricity then switch to Robin and clean the sludge so you can access the terminal. Defeat the goons and have Batman turn off the terminal to the right first. Next, regroup with Robin and use the forklift to reach the other terminal. Turn it off as well.



Have Robin jump inside the large tank and access the terminal in the upper part of it. This should drain the water. Examine the canister to get the last chemical battle.


After the checkpoint, clean up the sludge. Your current water supply won't be enough so you have to assemble the broken lego pieces to the left so the water pit gets refilled. Put out the fire and reassemble the pieces to change into Robin's Acrobat Suit.



Switch to the other side and have Robin operate the machine using his Gyroball ability. After Batman crosses, drain the electricity from the leftmost outlet then power up the second. Reassemble the pieces to reveal Batman's Power Suit.



Continue to the right and open the barricade. Destroy the silver parts and climb the blue pole. Reassemble the pieces to form a grappling handle. Have Batman remove the barricade again then have Robin make his way up. Hit the nearby ladder so Batman can go up as well. Destroy the silver parts to create a footbridge for you to reach the other side.



Continue to the right and destroy the two large computer panels beside the large screen. Reassemble the pieces to complete the gyro ball mechanism. Have Robin operate it then move the cursor to turn off both ice jets. Proceed to the right then remove the barricade so Robin can operate the gyro ball mechanism above.



Move the platform towards Batman first so he can ride, then move it to the right so he can change back into his Electricity Suit. Drain the power then continue to the right. Once the gate is opened, have Robin move across the toxic vats and deactivate the terminal. Have Batman recharge the next power outlet then jump on the large metal box to reach the next checkpoint.



Superman will now join the party. Take this time to familiarize with his controls. First, use your freeze breath to take out the fire. (1/5) Next, fly up then pull the orange handle to the left. Once the fire is extinguished, use his Freeze Breath so Batman and Robin can follow suit.



Along the catwalk, extinguish the small fire again (2/5) then reassemble the pieces so Batman can change to his Power Suit. Blow up the silver barrier nearby so Robin can change to his Hazard Suit. Continue to the right and have Superman use his X-Ray vision to operate the handles behind the blue wall. This should open the valves nearby.


Proceed to where the chemical/ water pits are. Extinguish the small fire again (3/5) then use Superman's heat ray vision to destroy the gold objects. Have Robin step on the orange pit and fill the orange hole with liquid. Find the other colored vats and fill the corresponding valves.



Change Batman back to his Electricity Suit then have Superman freeze the water fountains. Drain the electricity then let Superman fly up. Have him cut through the solid surface of the water tank to extinguish the large flames below. To the right of the water tank is a small fire as well. (4/5)



Proceed to the next tank and do the same. This time, freeze the water so Batman and Robin have something to grab unto. Continue to the far right until you find the last fire to douse. This should reveal a mini-kit. Power up the lift then continue to the next checkpoint.



You should change into the Power Suit however, you won't be able to do that immediately. For now, have Superman destroy the two gold objects here. (2/5) There is another one above so fly up and you should find it ton the wall. (3/5)  Have Superman fly to the other side and destroy the remaining two golden cabinets.  You'll get another mini-kit here.



Have Batman cross the electric field then let Superman destroy the golden blocks and reassemble the ladder. Use Batman to discharge the electricity then have him change to his Power Suit. Backtrack to the right and destroy the support beams to complete the stage.




   




Chapter 6: Chemical Signature

To start this next mission, you have to follow the large truck and keep shooting at it. Once the driving sequence starts, just concentrate on taking out the targets and shooting at the projectiles. There will be two billboards you must shoot, each containing a minikit. See the video below to know their locations.

Once the truck's hearts are decimated, you'll start with the next checkpoint.


Rolling, like a boss.

Once inside, destroy the panels beside the two capsules where the robots appear. Next, destroy the two boxes near the blue capsule to change into Robin's Magnet Suit. Pull the nearby bar then guide the metal ball to the left side. Continue pulling it up until it activates the blue metal beams where Robin can walk on.



After pulling the magnetic ball to the left, head back to the right to pull the minikit using the same fashion.


Continue to the upper portion of the truck and activate the valve so Batman can climb up. Go to the right and pull the blue bar so two boxes fall down. Destroy the boxes and assemble the pieces for Batman's Sensor Suit. Climb up the ladder to reach the truck's rooftop. To the left you'll find a civilian in distress. Rescue him then destroy the glowing blue gear to disable the security camera. Two robot capsules will appear; just destroy the power conduit in the middle to stop them.



Have Robin go up the roof again and pull the blue magnetic part to close off the vents and for you to go across. Destroy the blue parts to reveal a green wall. Use Batman's X-ray vision to fix and connect the gears to close the next set of vents.


Walk to the right a bit and two rocketeers will appear. Use your batarang to shoot them down then re-assemble the parts to equip the Bat Suit. Have Robin pull the blue part in the next car and use the Bat Suit to glide across.


Destroy the large glowing gears to turn off the electricity then use the sonic gun to destroy the transparent parts. Next, let Robin pull the dish to destroy it and reassemble the parts to become a bat terminal. Use it to summon the Bat Wing and destroy the sides of the truck.


Enemies will appear so get rid of them as necessary then proceed to the front of the truck to find a minikit dangling close the road. Enter the truck again and pull the blue bar inside.



Continue to the holding area then activate the switch to the left. Destroy it to power off one of the beams. Walk on the magnetic pipes and destroy the second switch to power off the second laser. Reassemble the pieces to create a grappling handle.



Grab the grappling handle then grab the other grappling handle in one of the beams. Use it to reach the third switch. Destroy it to complete the chapter.




   




Chapter 7: Unwelcome Guests

Return to the Bat Cave and activate the terminal to start this chapter. You'll have to fight Lex and Joker this time. Start off by riding the bike and shooting at them. Lex will then destroy this bike which you can assemble to change into his Electricity Suit.


Continue to the right and activate the terminal so you can change into the Bat Suit. Destroy the transparent material nearby then change into Robin's Acrobat Suit.



Jump to the Bat Wing's platform and reassemble the parts to create a bar that Batman can grab on. Ride the Bat Wing and shoot the nasty pair again to take out one heart. After the Bat Wing is deconstructed, use the pieces so Batman can use his Power Suit.


Next, head to the right this time and step on the two water pumps once you reached it. Ride the next vehicle and shoot the dirty duo again to take out another heart.



Superman will join you again in the next checkpoint. First, start off by cutting through the golden wall. Switch to Batman or Robin then grab unto the grappling handle to reach the next platform. Climb the wall to the next platform, then have Superman extinguish the flame. Destroy the box and reassemble it to become a bar. Do the same thing to the next box so your teammates can continue.



Use Robin to jump on the poles until the part of the cave crashes it and water flows in. Freeze it using Superman's breath then climb up. There's a Joker Card to the left as well that you can destroy. (1/3) Use Superman's Xray Vision to operate the gears and open the door.



In the next area, fly to the right and destroy the golden object to reveal the mini-kit behind. Fly to the central platform and you should find a civilian (Alfred?) trapped in a fire. Put it out to rescue him.



Once done, make your way to the left and destroy the silver object in the upper platform. You'll find the second Joker Card behind it. Have Robin change to his Magnet Suit then cross the other side via the blue pipes. Continue to the right and target the door with your grappling hook to open it. Get inside and destroy the last Joker Card to get the minikit. Have Superman destroy the golden device as well.




Control Batman now, which should be left behind at this point. Make your way to the right, on the platform where the golden boulder is before. Assemble the pieces so you can use the zipline to reach the other side. Destroy all the silver pieces in the central platform and re-assemble them to become a gyro ball control mechanism.



Switch back to Robin's Acrobat Suit, use the zipline to return then use the gyro ball to control the t-rex robot. Keep moving until it stops. Destroy the golden egg to get a minikit as well.  Grab hold of the grappling handle to reach the cavern then blow up the silver object. Ride the air current to exit the cavern and complete the chapter.



 

Free Roam

After the last mission, you should be able to control Superman now, allowing you access to more gold bricks and character tokens. Exploring the whole city will be a lot more easier now, thanks to his flying ability. You can also start activating all available bat terminals at this point. I recommend in finding the stud multiplier red bricks first as they'll make your life easier later on. Refer  to the other sections of this guide for more information on how to find any particular gold brick, character token, civilian in peril or vehicle.

When ready or if you want to simply continue with the story, head to the flying aircraft



   




Chapter 8: Destination Metropolis

You'll start this level as Superman. Press and hold X to use his Heat Ray vision to destroy the targets and enemy choppers. You'll spot two golden patterns in front of the aircraft so destroy them for the minikit.



Cleaning the skies

As soon as the second phase starts, have Batman pull the covers of the two lower power conduits then have Superman melt all four of them to remove the barrier.


Head inside and use Batman to pull hook in front of the helicopter, then hit the pilot to make it crash.


Not a good idea

Change to Superman then use his X-ray vision to fix the conduit and get access to Batman's Electricity Suit. Switch to Batman then drain the power from the other powered outlet and insert it to the unpowered outlet to the right.



Next, destroy the two metal chests to the right and reassemble the pieces to become a switch. Pull it down to reveal the minikit under the hatch. Use the lift up then have the two characters pull down the switch. Next, melt the pattern on the golden wall to create a path.



Head to the next room and melt the locks. Superman can't get past the kryptonite glow so switch to Batman to assemble the pieces to cover the kryptonite radiation.


Head to the next room and kill the two hovercraft pilots. Ride one of them then press B to fire missiles. Use these to destroy the silver parts in the room. Assemble to broken pieces near the shafts to stop the enemy reinforcements then assemble the pieces in the middle for the two robot claws to become operational. Finally, melt the thruster of the rocket so it blows up the next door.



Continue forth and destroy the golden pipes powering the robot pods to stop the flow of androids. After that, fly up through the hole in the ceiling then pull the power handle.



Assemble the pieces to change into the Bat Suit. Destroy either one of the glass vents to either side then ride the current up to regroup with Superman. Destroy the large glass to access the pilot compartment to complete the mission.





   




Chapter 9: Research and Development

After the scene, you'll be thrown in a boss fight immediately, after the Evil Receptionist.

First, destroy the Lex Luthor logo where the boss is standing on. Then, assemble the pieces so Batman can change to his Power Suit. Use the power suit's bombs to take out the boss's hearts. For every heart taken, the boss will call in reinforcements. After dispatching the reinforcements, the boss will jump back and turn around while scattering projectiles. Wait for it to stop spinning before targeting it with your bombs. Repeat until it is defeated.


Even his receptionist is evil

Once done, have Superman melt the golden part of the capsule containing a mini-kit to the left. Then, stand in front of the green wall and use his X-ray vision to fix the power pipes and enable the escalator.



Continue upstairs then destroy all the silver pieces. Reassemble the parts to fix the lever. Pull it down to call the elevator. Ride it up to the upper level. Destroy both pieces then assemble the parts so Batman can change to his Electricity Suit.



Drain the power in the middle to deactivate the kryptonite field. Proceed to the right and have Superman melt the golden outlet cover. Charge it up with Batman then change to his Power Suit. Destroy the silver piece beside the outlet. Shoot a bomb inside the conveyor belts to power off the next kryptonite barrier.



Continue to the right and carve open the golden plate to activate the elevator. Proceed to the next level and destroy the golden lock on the vault.



Assemble the pieces then change to Batman's Sensor Suit. Operate the valve in the middle then press on the switch to the right to destroy the target and the guards that will respond. Repeat this two more times to finally destroy the black wall and force the robots to break the glass open. Destroy them then ride the current up.



Continue to the right and destroy the golden parts to stop the heavy kryptonite flow. You may need to fly near the ceiling the destroy the rightmost part. In the second machine, pull the handle then destroy the mechanism behind it. Assemble the pieces on the ground to create a lever. Activate it then switch the Batman.



Pull yourself up using the grappling handle then make your way to the right. Destroy the pieces to change into the Bat Suit. Return to the third machine and destroy the glass panel so Superman can pass.



Destroy the rotating Lex Luthor logo then step on the switch. Switch to Batman then glide to the other side. Destroy the bots and remove the glass door. Activate the switch to power off the kryptonite field. Carve the golden wall open then go through it to reach the next area/ checkpoint.



Destroy all the enemies then examine the green wall. Activate all the pistons to open the door. Destroy the table in the middle and reassemble it to become control seats.



Take your seat to control one of the robots. You'll be fighting the LexBot Prototype next. This is an easy battle; keep distance from it and wait for it to charge. Before it hits you, move away then attack it. Repeat it until it' defeated.


Lex Bot 2000

Once done, the scientists will attempt to turn the valve to call in reinforcements. Kill them before they do; otherwise, turn the valve off yourself. Continue to the right and destroy the two panels using the Bat Suit's Sonic Gun. After that, destroy the golden wall. Ride the elevator next to complete the mission.





   




Chapter 10: Down to Earth

Approach the giant robot to start this mission. You'll be facing Joker Robot this time. Start by destroying the layers of targets on both of its feet until you reach the silver layer. Take out the enemy chopppers sent to you then switch to Batman to destroy the silver layer. Continue doing this process until you destroyed the thrusters and reached the checkpoint. During this sequence, you'll be able to rescue a civilian in peril by destroying all choppers.


Joker Bot 2000

During the this sequence as well, you can shoot all five flying Joker Boxes to get one mini-kit each.


With the right groove

After the checkpoint, destroy the golden part near the feet then reassemble it to become a missile turret. This will take out the roving chopper and award you with a mini-kit.


Jump to the left then pull the canopy of the chopper open to kill the pilot. Once it crashes, reassemble the pieces to change into the Power Suit.


Continue forth and destroy the left rear exhaust fins of the robot, then melt its golden plates with Superman's heat ray. Pull the handle to take out the fuel lines. Three turrets will appear afterward; destroy them all to get another mini-kit.



Do to the same thing to the other exhaust and fuel line to complete the mission.



   




Chapter 11: Underground Retreat

To reach the crashed robot, you can use the activated bat terminals near that location. If not, you have to use a speedboat and disembark on one of the docks in the west and south part of the third island, since all bridges leading here are blocked.


Once inside the metro, destroy the enemies and have Superman pull the orange machine to the left of the electric switch. Assemble the lego pieces in the middle to change into Batman's Electricity Suit then drain the charge from the eletric switch. Pull the handle bar in the middle to remove the debris.


Continue ahead and put out the fire with Superman's Ice Breath. Move forth and assemble the pieces to the right to get the Power Suit. Destroy the silver part to the left. Switch back to the Electricity Suit then power up the generator to the left.


Once the Joker Robot removes its feet,  destroy the large pile of silver pieces ahead and clear the path of the train cars until you reach the next checkpoint.


In the next area, destroy the silver boxes then assemble the parts to fix the nearby machine. Activate the lever and it will spew out new set of parts. Assemble them to change into Batman's Bat Suit. Next, head to the right and destroy the glass pipes. You have to freeze the water afterward then climb up.



Climb up the ice wall as Batman then glide to the next platform. Activate the lever there to stop the train and to remove the cover of the gold part to the left. Destroy the glass cover on the ladder to go down normally. Destroy the golden part and pull the train using the orange handle.


Continue ahead the rail track and turn to the left. Put out the fire then climb upstairs. Glide to the middle platform then glide again to the right. Destroy the glass cover of the ladder then regroup with Superman. Peek through the green wall and arrange the conduits to power it off completely. Pull the path open to reach the upper floor.



Once there, you have to destroy the golden part in the Joker Robot's hand. Otherwise, it will just keep calling for reinforcements. Enter the traincar to head to the next checkpoint.


Hammerfist!

Continue heading to the right and destroy all enemies along the way. Once you've reached an electrified car, destroy the nearby boxes to assemble Batman's Electricity Suit. Drain the power then have Superman pull the orange handle. Continue to the right and change the power switch to complete the mission.




   




Chapter 12: The Next President

Head to the city hall for the next mission. Once the mission starts, shoot the glowing pieces on the ceiling to the left then reassemble them for Batman to change to his Power Suit. Next, melt the golden plate in the middle, blow the pipe up and freeze the water. You can also destroy the Lex Luthor poster nearby. (1/5)



After climbing up the ice wall, you can find a mini-kit between the legs of the statue, behind the man with the signboard. You can also destroy the rectangular Lex Luthor banner in the middle (2/5). Next go to the right and melt the golden plates. Reassemble the lego pieces below to change into Batman's Electricity Suit.



Continue upstairs and drain the electricity from the power outlet. You can also destroy another Lex Luthor poster to the left. (3/5) Pull the orange handle then walk up the ramp. Pull the bronze handle using Batman's Grappling Hook. Climb up the ladder next then have your two characters step on the buttons. Melt the golden part in the robot's chest next.




Head to the left and cut the golden plate open. Enter it and change to Batman's Bat Suit. Assemble the pieces in the middle to fix the helicopter then grapple towards it and use it. Point the light in front of the robot's face until it reacts.



Use the Bat Suit's Sonic Gun to destroy the glass part to the right and for you to create a ramp. Go up the ramp and assemble all the helicopter pieces again. Change to Batman's Electricity Suit then power up the generator to the right. Sit on the spotlight and point it to the Robot Joker's face. Next, pull the orange bar to complete the mission.






   




Chapter 13: Core Instability

This is a very short chapter where you need to damage the Robot Joker while its in pursuit. The idea is simple; first, find a destructible foundation that will damage the robot and reveal its weakness in the chest. Keep shooting at it until the energy bar is gone. You have to repeat this method three times to complete the mission.


I'm not trying to lose him.

Chapter 14: Tower Defiance

You'll have two more allies here; Cyborg and Green Lantern. Cyborg has laser eyes that has the same effect as  Superman's Heatray vision. He also has the ability to pull magnetic objects. Green Lantern in the other hand, can fly and assemble green lego objects.

Start off by destroying the golden case in the middle to get a mini-kit. Head to the right and pull the hanging vault and destroy its knob. Assemble the green pieces using Green Lantern afterward. Use the green hand to pull some debris in the fiery lower floor and create a footbridge.




Cross the narrow footbridge to the right then pull the orange bar and destroy the debris there. Assemble the green lego pieces and wait for it to destroy the elevator door. Assemble the parts to change into Robin's Ice Suit. Freeze the water and climb up.



Melt the golden door to the left then defeat all enemies inside. Hop on the Batwing ride and wait for it to stop until a mini-kit appears. Continue to the left until a part of the upper floor collapses. Use the Ice Cannon to shoot the two ice switches. Pull the cover open then use Cyborg to scale the magnetic  blue pipes.



Once in the upper level, head to the right and melt the two golden containers. Assemble the green pieces and wait for it to clear the debris to the left, and free up some lego pieces which can enable Batman's Power Suit.
Continue upstairs to the left and destroy the elevator gate. Go inside for a short scene. Put out the fire using the ice cannon, then shoot the ice switch. Pull the grappling handle to ride the air vent up.



Activate the ice switch to change to the Electricity Suit. Continue to the right and drain the power from the generator.



Continue up the ramp and power up the generator. Next, use Green Lantern to reconstruct the green lego pieces. Enter the exhaust fan to reach the next part of this level.


Start by destroying the containers ahead to free up the green lego pieces. Have the Green Lantern assemble it  to remove Robot Joker's hands off the glass container ahead. Melt the golden plate to open it, then drain the electricity so Robin can change to his Hazard Suit.



Clean up the toxic spill then destroy the containers. Assemble the pieces so it'll form an orange handle on the nose of the chopper. Pull it out to create a pathway. Head north and put out the fire on the electric outlet. Charge it using Batman for the robot to clear the debris. Continue head for a boss fight.



Start off by destroying the air conditioning units and assembling them to become a missile turret. Operate it and shoot the robot on its stomach. It will release some green lego pieces. Shoot two more times until it destroys the turret and releases all the necessary green lego pieces. Assemble them to hit a critical blow on the robot.


Rooftop fight.

You'll be in a free fall sequence. Press A to dive and catch up with the robot while evading the debris and rockets. Once you landed on the robot, you have to wait for the Joker himself to finish throwing his pies and firing the first barrage of rockets. Stay close to the hatch where he appears and he'll wave after his second rocket barrage. That's the time to hit him. Repeat this process three more times until he's defeated.


I'm free... free falling!



   




Chapter 15: Heroes Unite

Pull the orange bar to the immediate left to get a mini-kit. Next, head to the far right and melt the golden container. Assemble the pieces and change to Batman's Electricity Suit.



Next, head to Robot Joker's left hand and drain the power there. Switch to Wonder Woman then use her lasso to pull the handles from the RJ's arm. Fly to the orange handle next and pull it.



Use the Green Lantern's power to remove the armor plating on the RJ's right hand. Melt the golden plate then pull the switches inside using Wonder Woman's lasso.



Switch to the Cyborg and pull the blue magnetic parts to destroy the black piles. Assemble the parts to switch to Robin's Acrobat Suit. Aim for the pole slot on the RJ's right shoulder and place your pole there. Jump on it to pull it open and for the green pieces to come out. Have Green Lantern assemble them to destroy the RJ's head.



The Joker will appear next. Defeating him is easy; just have one of your characters attack him and he'll electrocute him/her. Switch to another character to damage him. After losing a heart, he will call in robot reinforcements. Destroy them all and the Joker will be back to the ground. Repeat the same process until he's down.


I have the last laugh!

Lex will appear next. To damage him, you need to assemble first the parts for the satellite targeting system. Get behind the black containers while he's firing his kryptonite shells and scatter bombs. He will fire his deconstructor beam after those two attacks so staying behind the black containers will make him destroy them. These containers contain the parts for the targeting system so keep doing this until you fully assemble the targeting system.

Use Robin's Gyro Ball to control the targeting system and manually move the satellite beam on Lex and his robot minions. Repeat this until he is defeated.


Now or never!

 

Post-Game / Free Roam

You can now freely switch to any of your unlocked characters by pressing the Y button. You may want to collect all character tokens and red bricks first in the open world map. To get all these, you must find and get the character tokens of these three villains: The Joker, Lex Luthor and The Riddler. Refer to this guide's character tokens section for more details.




   




Achievements Guide

I suggest you go achievement hunting after completing all the main story missions since you'll be able to freely use unlocked characters on your second playthrough. There are no missable nor bugged/glitched achievements in the game so with enough time and patience, you can reach 100% game and achievement completion.

Gorilla Thriller - 20G
Climb to the top of Wayne tower while riding a Gorilla and playing as a female character.

You can do this using any female character. You need to ride a gorilla from the Gotham Zoo and scale the Wayne Tower via a climbable path along the wall. Watch the video below to learn how to do it:

Defeat Zod as Superman

Refer to the video below to learn Zod's location. In case you defeated him using a different character, simply play as Superman and switch the second player as Zod. Attack Zod using Superman until he's destroyed to get this achievement.

Green Lantern's Light - 20G 
Defeat Sinestro as Green Lantern

Green Lantern is automatically unlocked after completing all story missions. Sinestro can be unlocked by activating the Metro Station Central bat terminal and defeating him. Refer to the video below to learn Sinestro's location. In case you defeated him using a different character, simply play as Green Lantern and switch the second player as Sinestro. Attack him using Green Lantern until he's destroyed to get this achievement.

When Superman joins your party in Chapter 5: Chemical Crisis, simply fly by pressing the jump button twice.

With Brainiac, defeat any LexBot

You can unlock Brainiac by activating the Gotham Park terminal. You need to destroy the golden lock with Superman's heatray vision or Cyborg's laser. Lexbots appear randomly throughout Gotham City but they do appear frequently on top of the Wayne Tower. Alternatively, you can simply use a cheat (W49CSJ) to unlock the Lexbot. Play as Brainiac and switch the other player to Lexbot and destroy him to get this achievement.

Do a finishing move

Enter a fight with 5 or more enemies. After defeating four of them, you'll see a "B" appear above their heads. Press it quickly and you should be able to perform a finishing move.

Use the Gotham City Metro

There are three metro stations in the city. You'll know this since they have flat round surfaces and the statue holding those plates rise from the ground when you're near. Simply enter any of the stations to unlock this achievement.

There are a totla of 50 citizens in peril; 15 of them are found in each of the story levels while the others are scattered throughout the map. Refer to the Civilians in Peril section of this guide.

Get Super Hero in all levels (Single Player Only)

To achieve the "Superhero" status in each story level, you must acquire a required number of studs. (Usually amounting to 100,000 ) This is easily done if you have multipliers active. (up to x3840) To learn how to get these multipliers, refer to this guide's Red Brick section.


Team Building - 50 
Unlock all characters (Single Player Only)

There are 50 characters in the game. Some are unlocked automatically through story completion, others like bosses need to be discovered and defeated, while the others must be purchased from golden gates. These golden gates only become available if you reached the required number of gold bricks. If not, the gate pieces will remain transparent and will display its required number of golden bricks.

The last character token, Supergirl requires all 250 golden bricks to be unlocked. Refer to the Golden Brick and Character Token guides for more details.


Minikit Hero - 20 
Use all the Minikit vehicles

There are 15 minikit vehicles (5 each for air, land and sea) which can be assembled by collecting all 10 minikits in every story level. For them to count at "used", you need to press Y and hop on them. The achievement will unlock on the last vehicle you'll hop on.

Test a custom character

You can only create a custom character while inside the Batcave. Head to the left portion of the cave and you'll see two Batman symbols on the wall. Alterinately, you can also press and hold Y to open the character selection screen and choose one of the empty custom character silhouttes.

Collect all the red bricks (Single Player Only)

There are 20 red bricks in the game which can only be collected by having the Joker, Lex Luthor and the Riddler. Refer to the this guide's Red Brick section for the location of each red brick in the game. When scanned on the map, they appear as red dots.

Most of the gold bricks you'll find are scattered throughout the map. They are marked by a yellow dot on the map which you can find by scanning the areas (refer to the Gold Bricks section of the guide) The breakdown of other sources of gold bricks are the following:

Most of the bricks will require certain abilities, like Superman's Heatray vision or even special suits that only Batman or Robin has access to. Some of the bricks also require a series of objects that must be destroyed quickly. You'll know this when you see a transparent brick and "bouncing" objects around it, such as grass, lamp posts or planters.

Some bricks can also be acquired by passing "time trials" which usually involves vehicles. You have to pass checkpoints before the time runs out. The golden brick appears after passing the last checkpoint.

Minikit Guide

You can fully collect all mini-kits during Free Play and it is recommended to attempt this after completing the main story and unlocking more characters. See the Character Tokens guide for more details.

Take note that if your gameplay is somehow interrupted and you have to start the level again from the checkpoint, any collected mini-kit will not be counted. For example, you have collected three mini-kits in the first phase of the level, then you saved your game and exited, those three mini-kits you acquired earlier won't be counted in the evaluation once the level is complete and you have to repeat the whole chapter again and finish it to the end without interruptions for them to count.

Also, it will be helpful (but not necessary) to have the Minikit Piece Finder, which can be purchased as red brick #14. See the Red Brick guide to learn how to get it.

Minikit Guide - Chapter 1: Theatrical Pursuits

Harley Quinn's Monster Truck (Mini-Kit)
(Required characters: Lex Luthor, Joker, Cyborg)

At the start of the chapter, use Lex Luthor's Deconstructor Beam to destroy the black parts of the Batwing. This will reveal the level's first mini-kit.


Beside the Batwing is a silver table. Change to Batman's Power Suit and blow it up. (1/3) Find the other two silver tables and blow them up as well to reveal the next mini-kit. (See pictures below)



Next, switch to Robin and equip his Acrobat Suit. Head to the right to find a pole slot. Place his pole there and swing on different poles until you reach the mini-kit.


In the second area past the band room is costume area with a golden lock. Melt it to enter then pull the Blue Bike using Cyborg. This will open a trap door. Jump through it and head to the left. Go up the ladder to reach the secret room. In that room, you have to shatter the glass pieces, using Black Canary, Man-Bat or Batman's Bat Suit's Sonic Gun. Next, switch to Joker and power up the switch to the left, behind the iron bars. Finally operate the colored pressure switches. Step on them in the order of the colored notes on the wall behind the organ.





Dragon/Castle stage area - This minikit is located right behind the windows of the castle props.



In the Dragon/Castle stage area, deconstruct the black pieces to the right then power on the switch using Batman's Electricity Suit or Joker's default ability. Ride the horse prop and the mini-kit will appear after the horse hits the plate.



In the second checkpoint, break the glass in the middle of the room then melt the golden studs inside to get this mini-kit.



Next, freeze the water to the far right then destroy the gas canister. Rebuild it to become a zipline and the mini-kit will appear in the far end to the left.



After defeating Two-Face, use Robin's Acrobat Suit to reach the the mini-kit in the far right, by the ceiling.


In the last checkpoint and while fighting the Joker, simply destroy the three green windows to get this mini-kit.





   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 2: Harboring a Criminal

Joker's Speedboat (Mini-kit)
Required Characters: Cyborg

First destroy the large golden spotlight to the right to find this mini-kit.


After getting Batman's Power Suit, destroy the spotlight in the far left. Reassemble it to become a silver cart then follow the grail of gold coins until a mini-kit appears.


Destroy the silver pipes to the left of the entrance to reveal this minikit


Destroy the first four blue billboards scattered around the first area. After getting Robin's Magnet Suit, pull the two pipes by the five, long blue pipes. Reassemble the pieces to create the last billboard. Destroy it to get the minikit.



When climbing the theater, make your way to the large pillar to the left. You should see some ladders there. Find the mini-kit behind the ladder.


After reaching the top of the theater and after pulling the orange handle to free the last part of the chopper, check the space behind to find this mini-kit. You may need a flying character to reach it.


During the speedboat chase sequence, watch out for the two yellow rollercoaster cars that are moving along the tracks. Destroy two of them to get the minikit.



During the boss fight with the Joker, ride the bumpcar in the lower left corner of the parking lot to reveal this minikit.


During the boss fight with the Joker, destroy all cars in the parking lot to get this minikit.


During the bossfight with the Joker, melt the golden parts holding the bulldozer. (These parts will only become golden after taking out the Joker's first heart) Drive it towards the truck. Assemble the ramp and park the bulldozer on the truck to reveal this mini-kit.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 3: Arkham Asylum Antics

Two-Face's Truck (Minikit)
Required Characters: Poison Ivy, Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, Joker, Man-Bat, Cyborg, Killer Croc

At the start of the level, deconstruct the black wall to the left. Go there and melt the golden parts on the wall. Assemble the green pieces using the Green Lantern and the mini-kit will appear after the large bowling pins got knocked down.



From the level entrance, head to the right this time and deconstruct the black gate. Switch to Poison Ivy then press B on the plants on the ground to reach the other side. Next, switch to Joker and drain the power from the outlet. Return to the other side and pull the orange bar to get the mini-kit.



After reaching the large silver statue and getting the Power Suit, blow it up to get the mini-kit.


For your convenience, use Superman to find all the small fountains in the maze, freeze them and destroy them to get the mini-kit. Watch the video below:


Freezing the fountains

In the middle of the maze, near the entrance is an orange bar you can pull. Do so to get the mini-kit.


In the middle of the maze, near the entrance, you should find a glass lego block behind a cover. To its left is a black rider statue. It will be easier to fly there then switch to Lex Luthor to deconstruct it. Assemble the pieces to become an operational lever. Pull it down to remove the cover and jump there. Shatter the glass to get the mini-kit.



Fly to the left side of the maze and you should spot a blue magnetic block under a long stretch of iron grills. Switch to Cyborg and pull the block out of the way to access the minikit at the end.


Pulling the blocks

Fly to the left side of the maze to spot some moving vines above a canal. Switch to Killer Croc and swim underwater to reach the other side. Melt the four golden statuettes and assemble the pieces to create two control buttons. Use these to rotate the small maze and free the green orb. Once the orb rolls out and grows into a vine, destroy it to get the minikit.



After getting the Bat Suit, head down and right to find a crystal wall. Shatter it using the Sonic Gun to get the mini-kit inside.


Fly to the top left corner of the maze to find a mechanism that you must push to operate. This should open the grates underwater. Switch to Killer Croc and get the mini-kit underwater.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 4: Asylum Assignment

Scarecrow's Biplane (minikit)
Required Characters: Killer Croc, Joker, Cyborg, Green Lantern, Penguin, Aquaman, Poison Ivy

(Main Story)
After powering the second generator using Batman's Electricity Suit, switch to Robin underwater then destroy the fan blades to enter the tunnel. The mini-kit is located to the immediate left.


After destroying the green machine past the underwater gate, have Batman power on the generator again to open the floor panel inside the cage. Switch to Robin and float up to the opened floor panel to get inside the cage. A mini-kit is located to the far left.


As soon as you reach the checkpoint, clear the enemies in the monitoring room and switch to Robin's Acrobat Suit. Swing on the handle bars to reach the mini-kit to the right.

Once you reached the room with the large monitors, simply swing on the handle bars to reach the minikit in the far end.


(Free Play)

Fly to the far right to reach the last water tank. Switch to Killer Croc and dive down. Pull the orange bar to get the minikit afterward.


Once you reach the platform with the broken floor overhead, jump down to the right to find a Joker Box. Activate it and assemble the pieces then pull down the lever to the right. This should reveal the minikit.


Once you reached the upper floor, head to the right and pull the magnetic lock from the door to the right. Assemble the green pieces then go down the hole on the floor to find the minikit.



Switch to Penguin and look for the vent in the lower right corner of the room. Release a penguin bomb until it goes through the vent and blows up the glass panel in the enclosed room. You should be able to reach the minikit in the top left afterward.


Explosive minions

Once you've reached the checkpoint, you'll have to look out for the Joker graffiti scattered in this area. You need to clean them up using Aquaman's water jet ability. Clean all five graffiti to get the minikit.





After getting past the X-ray corridor and reaching the metallic platform to the right, jump down to find a black door. Deconstruct it to access the minikit inside.


As soon as you reach the sliding stairs of the prison cell, check the vine covered cage to the left. Switch to Poison Ivy to reach the minikit inside.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 5: Chemical Crisis

Joker's Helicopter (Minikit)
Required Characters: Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, Joker, Poison Ivy

After the checkpoint and when Superman joins the group, look for the five small fires you can douse. These look different that the large flames where you need large amounts of water to put out. Superman's Freeze Breath should be enough.






Third checkpoint, on the rooftop, there are five golden cabinets that you can destroy. There are three in the first area; two on the ground and one is located on the wall overhead. The other two are located in the other side, one is located near the power switch while the other is to the far right. After destroying the fifth cabinet, you'll get the minikit.



(Free play)
When you reach the green chemical vat, fly up and you should see a golden cover on the pipe. Destroy it to get the minikit.


Beside the purple chemical vat are some silver pipes. Blow them up then pull the lever down. Jump on the nearby vent to reach the minikit above.


Continue to the right and you should find some black parts beside the water vat. Deconstruct them and re-assemble the pieces. Pull the orange bar to get the minikit.


Hidden minikit

After crossing the large chemical vats, you should see a minikit behind a silver laser fence. Simply fly over it to get the minikit.


At the start of the checkpoint, clear the toxic sludge and fire to find a black covering on the wall. Deconstruct it and destroy the gift box. (1/3) For the second gift box, power up the rightmost power outlet to open the vault cover. For the third gift box, you'll need Robin's Acrobat Suit.

Make your way to the area with the large screen with the Joker's face on it. Destroy the two panels on both sides so you can assemble them to a gyro ball mechanism. Destroy the colorful cover on the lower right to reveal a power outlet. Use Joker to power it up then have Robin activate the mechanism and select the conveyor icon on the screen to reveal the third gift box.





Fly to the right to find a golden support base above a chemical tank. Destroy it then use Green Lantern to assemble the green pieces and get the minikit.


At the start of the checkpoint, pull the magnetic lock to reveal a glass floor panel. Use the colored pumps to guide the ball to the exit. Once you made it out, destroy the ball to get the minikit.


Ball control

After turning off the electric field, switch to Poison Ivy and examine the vine ahead to reach this minikit.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 6: Chemical Signature

LexCorp Juggernaut (minikit)
Required Characters: Cyborg, Superman, Poison Ivy, Lex Luthor

During the car chase scene, there will be two billboards you must shoot, each containing a minikit. See the video below to know their locations.

After pulling the magnetic ball to the left, head back to the right to pull the minikit using the same fashion.


After calling the Bat Wing and destroying the sides of the vehicle, you'll find this in front of the truck.


(Free Play)

After pulling the magnetic ball to the left at the start of the checkpoint, destroy the golden beams to open the hatch and access the minikit.


After reaching the upper level of the truck, past the first checkpoint, you'll find some vines to the right. Switch to Poison Ivy and interact with it to reach a secret area. Destroy all three dancing robots to get the mini-kit.



After getting past the security camera, go to the left to find a citizen in peril. Jump down and deconstruct the black door to get this minikit.


Once you're on the top of the truck, make your way to the far right. Make your way to the front of the truck and destroy the golden window to get the minikit.


Finally, continue until you reach three rotating blue beams. Fly up in the middle to reach the last minikit for this level.





   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 7: Unwelcome Guests

Batwing (Minikit)
Required Characters: Lex Luthor, Superman

In the second checkpoint after escaping the crumbling cavern, use Superman and fly to the right. You should see a golden object in a platform. Destroy it to easily get the mini-kit inside.


There are three large Joker Cards that you must destroy to get the mini-kit. The first one is found to the right after freezing the waterfall. The second one is found by destroying the silver block above Robin's Magnet Suit capsule. The third one is found inside the room with the golden device.




Find a way to assemble the gyro ball mechanism and operate it using Robin's Acrobat Suit. Wait for the t-rex robot to stop and lay a golden egg. Disintegrate it using Superman's heat ray to get the mini-kit.


 

(Free Play)

As soon as the level starts, deconstruct the black blocks in the computer to get the minikit.


There are three floating Joker Boxes that will appear once you ride each of Batman's vehicles which you'll use to shoot Lex and Joker. Destroy these boxes to get the minikit.




Head to the right and put out the fire near by the Batman logo to the lower left.


Shatter the large glass then change to Robin's Acrobat Suit. Melt the gold plate underneath to get the minikit.


Next fly to the left to find a hanging platform above the Batwing, containing a minikit


After reaching the large, open space with a T-Rex robot, deconstruct the black door to the left then shatter the glass enclosure to get the minikit.



Before leaving the area past the T-Rex robot, destroy the debris covering a Riddler Box. Switch to the Riddler to open it and get the minikit.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 8: Destination Metropolis

LexCorp VTOL (Minikit)
Required Characters: Cyborg, Lex Luthor

During the flying sequence at the start of the mission, you'll see two golden patterns in front of the aircraft. Destroy both to get the minikit.


Once inside the airship, destroy the two metal chests to the right and reassemble the pieces to become a switch. Pull it down to reveal the minikit under the hatch.


 

(Free Play)

Once inside the airship and taking out the chopper, deconstruct the two walls and two black objects inside. Step on both switches and the minikit should be accessible from the vent near the ceiling. Fly there to obtain it.



In the first area inside the airship, you'll find a large battery. Destroy it to count for a minikit.


In the next area with a large kryptonite radiation filling the room, fly up a bit to find a glass panel to the left. Destroy it to get the minikit.


In the area where you need to shoot down two jetpack-equipped goons, activate the Joker box to the left to open the next area. Destroy the battery inside.



Clean the toxic sludge on the lever then activate it. Switch to Robin's Acrobat Suit and operate the gyro ball mechanism. Use it to play a mini-game and destroy 10 targets to reveal a mini-kit.



In the same area where you need to shoot down two jetpack-equipped goons, head to the right and deconstruct the black box to get some green lego pieces. Reassemble them and wait until the minikit appears.


Hammer time

In the same area where you need to shoot down two jetpack-equipped goons, deconstruct the door to the right and destroy the last battery for a minikit.


Next, destroy the lego blocks to the far right and reassemble them to become a hovercraft. Ride it to get the minikit that will appear. Hit the red circles on the wall as well to remove the cover of the minikit in the middle. Reach it using the hovercraft.


Hover time

After opening the door and reaching the room before the cockpit, deconstruct the black lego piece to the left the pull the orange bar to get the minikit.

Minikit Guide - Chapter 9: Research and Development

Police Car (Minikit)
Required Characters: Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman


Melt the golden part of the capsule containing a mini-kit to the left side of the lobby.


Head to the right and deconstruct the black parts of the capsule. Reassemble the parts to get the minikit. Next, fly to the second level and destroy the silver lock on the switch. Pull it down then destroy the containers inside the room to the right. Reassemble the green lego pieces and a minikit will appear where the green device explodes.


Deconstruct and destroy

After taking out the first kryptonite field, you'll have to melt the golden outlet cover. Charge it up destroy the silver piece beside the outlet. Shoot a bomb inside the conveyor belts to power off the next kryptonite field. Next, pull the blue magnetic part then activate the switch. This will change the conveyors' direction. Shoot another bomb inside to blow up the silver holders and free up the minikit.


Head to the right to find the first out of five monitors you should destroy for a mini-kit. After taking the elevator, you should find another monitor to the left. Destroy it as well.



Head to the right and destroy the glass cube. Activate the lever to remove the protective covering of the box beside you. Activate it using the Joker to get the minikit.


Deconstruct and destroy

After reaching the upper floor by riding the air current, you'll find another monitor to destroy.


Continue deactivating the machines as you head to the right. In the second machine where you need to melt the cover, there should be a minikit behind it.


Continue further to the right to find another monitor, right after the third machine. Fly to the other side to find the last monitor. Destroy it to get the minikit.



Switch to Aquaman to clean the sludge then to Cyborg to pull the magnetic cover. This will reveal a minikit.


Hidden minikit

After defeating the LexCorp robot prototype, fly above where the reinforcement switch is to get this minikit.


For the last minikit, clean up the toxic sludge to the lower right corner then activate the switch. Change to the Flash and step on the red pressure switches until all of them are lighted. Once the platform brings down the necessary parts, assemble them to get the minikit.

Minikit Guide - Chapter 10: Down to Earth

Police Boat (Minikit)
Required Characters: Cyborg, Lex Luthor

During the flying sequence, shoot all five flying Joker Boxes to get one mini-kit each.


Shooting down them boxes

After the checkpoint, destroy the golden part near the feet then reassemble it to become a missile turret. This will take out the roving chopper and award you with a mini-kit.


After pulling out the first fuel line at the back of the robot, three turrets will appear. Destroy all of them to get the mini-kit.


 

(Free Play)

Destroy the hovering helicopter so you can assemble Batman's Power Suit. This will remove the cover of the magnetic plate on the robot's left ankle. Pull it then assemble the parts to become a mountable turret. Destroy all targets to get a minikit.


There's no perfect time for target practice

For the last two minikits, simply deconstruct the black parts on the robot's left leg and its groin.

Minikit Guide - Chapter 11: Underground Retreat

Penguin's Submarine (Minikit)
Required Characters: Lex Luthor, Aquaman, Riddler, Cyborg

As soon as the stage starts, destroy the pile of silver objects then activate the lever get the first minikit.


Underground Explosions

After powering up the large generator, deconstruct the black wall above it to access the minikit along the way and a Riddler Box containing a minikit itself.


Double trouble

Once you've reached the railway with an active train, reach the right-most part by either flying or using Poison Ivy. From there, switch to Batman's Sensor Suit and go stealth so you can activate the switch and open the cage. Get the minikit inside. While you're at it, switch to Aquaman and remove the graffiti beside the blue cage.


Another One

There is another graffiti found in the middle platform.


After the train halts and get thrown away by the Robot Joker, follow the trail then fly to the left to reach another minikit.


In the next switch, you'll find two more graffiti here.



After removing the black parts and pulling the gate open, you'll have a woman waiting behind. Approach her to rescue the citizen for this level. Remove the magnetic door to get the minikit inside.


Once you've reached the second checkpoint, remove the last three graffiti to get your minikit.


After that, continue to the right and deconstruct two black boxes. Reconstruct the parts to become a paddle. Push it all the way to the front.


In the last checkpoint, keep heading right until you see a blue magnetic roof cover. Open it and jump inside the train car to get this minikit.


Finally on the main car, go to the rooftop to find this last minikit.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 12: The Next President

Mister Freeze's Iceberg (minikit)
Required Characters: Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, Cyborg, Aquaman

After climbing the ice wall, you can find the mini-kit between the legs of the statue, behind the man with the signboard.


 

(Free Play)

Head to the left and change to Batman's Sensor Suit. Go stealth and go past the security camera to get this minikit.


Now find and destroy all three glass panels covering the windows. There are two on the left and one to the right, behind the RJ's (Robot Joker) leg.



Go to the right to find a newsvan. Deconstruct its rear door and reassemble the green lego pieces to get this minikit.


You have to look out for five Lex Luthor campaign posters and billboards to get another minikit. There are two at ground level, a large one on top of the main entrance, one above by the statues on both sides.




Deconstruct the black pillar in the middle of the city hall entrance to get this minikit.


Pull the blue magnetic clock hands until the roof explodes and reveals the minikit.


On the second checkpoint, find and clean all three toxic sludge to get a minikit. Then, you'll have to blow up the silver water tank to get another one and finally, switch to Robin's Acrobat Suit and use his ability to operate the gyro ball mechanism to get the last minikit in this level.

Minikit Guide - Chapter 13: Core Instability

Batmobile (minikit)

The minikits you'll obtain in this level will be based on the targets you'll destroy. This is a bit tricky since some of the targets have conditions you must meet before they appear/ count as a minikit.

The following objects are fixed and have no risk of missing:

Cab on the left side of the road, near the park



Bruce Wayne billboards x2
10 spotlights
Silver key on the hand of a statue, as your turn to a corner from the park


5 green/purple boxes (appears after destroying a support beam and depleting RJ's energy for the first time)

Here are the objects that have certain conditions:

Two-Face's truck (appears as soon as the level starts; won't respawn if you failed to destroy it to first time. You'll know when you destroy it when a red “1/1” pops up in your screen.

Two-Face's Truck: appears again as you reach the park; won't respawn if you failed to destroy it to first time. You'll know when you destroy it when a green “1/1” pops up in your screen.


There three support beams that you need to destroy to weaken RJ. You need to hit in order/ don't destroy the same one twice. You need to pay attention and avoid destroying them by accident. Having a minikit finder active will help you determine the support beams you need to destroy.

The video below shows you the quick summary of the targets you have to destroy. It took me several attempts to determine the special conditions for some of the targets so carefully read the description I provided above.


Minikits



   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 14: Tower Defiance

Bat Boat (minikit)
Required Characters: Lex Luthor, Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg or Superman, Poison Ivy

At the start of the level, destroy the golden case in the middle to get this mini-kit.


After freezing the water on the elevator shaft and reaching the upper level, there's a batwing ride. Hop on it and wait for it to finish until a mini-kit appears.


 

(Free play)

Deconstruct the black objects to the left then reassemble them using Flash.


Wreckage minikits

You have to clean five graffiti and clean them using Aquaman. The first one should be across the fiery hole on the floor of the first area. The second one is on the next floor, with the Batwing ride and prototype. The third one is right above the floor where you got the second one. The fourth one is located right across the electrified floor and beside the power generator. The last one is found inside the secret room where only Poison Ivy can access.






Deconstruct the black door and enter the room. Deconstruct the Batwing next to get the minikit inside.


After reaching the upper floor using the air current from the elevator shaft, check the space behind where Batman's Electricity Suit is found. A minikit should be hidden there.


Turn off the electricity first then switch to Poison Ivy. Enter through the vines to access a secret room. Destroy all four pink cubes to get the minikit.



Once you've reached the rooftop, switch to Aquaman and fill up the empty water tank nearby. This will fill up the other tank containing the minikit.

Just below the citizen in distress is a generator unit. Simply destroy it to get the minikit.



Deconstruct the only black door in the rooftop to get this minikit.




   




Minikit Guide - Chapter 15: Heroes Unite

Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet (minikit)
Required Characters: Aquaman, Joker, Riddler, Penguin

As soon as the level starts, pull the orange bar to the immediate left to get this mini-kit.


 

(Free Play)

First, head to the right and blow up the silver case then reassemble it. Have Batman use the terminal to call in a support drop. Man the turret then destroy all ten landing robots for the minikit to appear.

Next, you need to put out all five fires using Aquaman. Next, you simply need to open the Joker Box at the back, on the left side of RJ. Then, put out the fire surrounding the container to the left, assemble the parts and pull it open to get the minikit.


Tricks and treats

Head to the right and charge the electric outlet to get a minikit. Have Batman drain the electricity on the RJ's hand then fly over to reach the Riddler Box. Clean the sludge then open the box for yet another minikit. Fly up and melt the golden door on the helicopter to find another minikit and melt the golden plate on the RJ's back for another one.


More tricks and treats

After pulling the handles using Wonder Woman and the RJ's left shoulder oozes with toxic fluid, clean it up for a minikit.

Character Tokens

After completing the main story mission “Asylum Assignment”, you'll be able to roam Gotham City freely. Character tokens will allow you to switch to that character whenever needed. (in Free Play only) If you have other character tokens, you can open up the screen to select them by pressing the Y button.

Bat terminals with red beams indicate a character that you can defeat. Once defeated, the terminal's beam becomes blue. The terminal can then be used to fast-travel between other terminals and select vehicles as well.

To fully get the other red bricks and collectibles, you must get the three main villains; the Joker, the Riddler and Lex Luthor. Check the list below to learn how to unlock them.


Lex Luthor
Can be unlocked by assembling the Yacht Club terminal. This can only be done by the Flash and he becomes available post-game.

Citizens in Peril

Citizens in peril are both available in missions and in the open map. They will appear as purple dots on the map when scanned. Citizens-in-Peril can be acquired during normal story play though some of them can only be rescued during Free Play and when you have the right characters. It will be easier to find them if you have the Peril Finder active.

The locations of the citizens are pretty much obvious so this guide will just feature their exact locations and positions.

Missions

Chapter 1: Theatrical Pursuits
Simply rescue the elderly woman being bullied to the left of the stage.

Chapter 2: Harbouring a Criminal
Head to the lower right and defeat the two thugs ganging up on a civilian.

Chapter 3: Arkham Asylum Antics
Use a flying character to locate the civilian in the northeast portion of the maze. You should be able to spot the civilian and his two bullies from above.


Chapter 4: Asylum Assignment

You'll find this civilian in the prison cell area, behind the silver gates.


Chapter 5: Chemical Crisis

In the checkpoint where Superman joins you, climb up the upper platform past where you'll get Robin's Hazard Suit. Destroy the glass part then hit the three valves to activate the fire system and save the trapped citizen.



Chapter 6: Chemical Signature
After getting Batman's Sensor Suit and reaching the rooftop, go to the left to find this poor soul.


Chapter 7: Unwelcome Guests
After escaping the crumbling cave, fly to the central platform and you should find a civilian (Alfred?) trapped in a fire. Put it out to rescue him.


Chapter 8: Destination Metropolis
You can find this guy near the end of the stage, just before you shatter the glass to reach the cockpit. You need to pull the magnetic pole to save this citizen.


Hammer time

 

Chapter 9: Research and Development
This guy is found on the second level of the lobby. (reachable only by flying) You need Aquaman to clean up the toxic spill around the citizen.


Cleanup

 

Chapter 10: Down to Earth
Just keep shooting down the helicopters until you rescue this citizen.

Chapter 11: Underground Retreat

When you reach the part of the railway where you need to clear through an electric field, you'll find this citizen behind the black pieces to the left.


Chapter 12: The Next President
Once you reached the rooftop checkpoint, go to the roof of a room to the left then pull the magnetic pole to rescue the citizen.

Chapter 14: Tower Defiance

You'll find the civilian on the rooftop, but you need to fly to the left to find him.


Chapter 15: Heroes Unite

The citizen is trapped in his car to the left. Destroy it using Man-Bat's sonic waves.


 

Free Roam

Left of Metro Station North. Freeze the water on the hydrant.


North of Botanical Gardens, near the bat terminal. Look for the large venus flytrap.


In the amusement park, look for the Clown Spray stall (where you can get another golden brick) and check the lot behind it to find the distressed civilian. Destroy the penguins to save the civilian.


A bit northwest of the Arkham Asylum entrance. Scan the map and look for a purple marker. Free the civilian by destroying the three parts of the giant venus flytrap.



Found in the ruins in the northwest corner of the first island. If you scan the map, it will appear as a purple marker. Free the civilian by destroying the three parts of the giant venus flytrap.



This civilian is found south of the Botanical Garden, trapped in a venus flytrap.



This civilian is found in the Harbourside Theatre, frozen solid. You need Superman's Heatray vision to free him.
